The food was very good. Had the 16oz Ribeye steak and split it. Little disappointed they don’t have baked potatoes but their mashed potatoes had the same flavor as if you were eating a baked potato. Salad was good. Over all the food was pretty good. I am glad we split the steak 16oz is a lot and I was very full. Presentation was a little off as you can see from the pictures but no mistake the food was cooked right and not overcooked. Note the steaks on the plate is the 16oz cut in half. They serve large portions and as I stated steaks are large. Go hungry. If this helped you please give it a like.

I don’t know if we came on an off day, but I was blown away at how bad this place is. We ordered the ribeye (medium) but it seemed undercooked on the outside and overcooked on the inside. Like the grill wasn’t hot enough. It also really lacked any flavor and I understand why they put A1 sauce on your table. The vegetables are all canned, frozen or instant. We couldn’t even eat the mashed potatoes or canned corn. To Pay $60 for a meal and get frozen or canned vegetables is insane to me. So even if it was an off day, I can’t believe they sell sides this bad. And the bread was literally burned. They didn’t care at all. I could’ve done a better job at home.

Ate tonight for the first time.. Best chicken flautas I’ve ever eaten! Food and service was excellent! Had a bite of the beef kabob and the quality of beef was so tender and great flavor! Best Mexican food in town! Highly recommend!

Stopped by for a quick snack!! Estrada’s did not disappoint!!

We shared an order of Beef Fajita Nachos!! OMG, the flavor of the High River Angus is a must try! Home made salsa & chips hit the spot.

We’ll definitely be back! Chips were a bit stale, but that can be fixed!!

We had to do take-out because we had our dog with us, driving back into town from San Antonio. The 1 1/4″ Rib-eye was large (no idea on how many ounces) and it was as good as you’ll find anywhere in Texas or beyond. The mini-tacos asada were also outstanding. Loved the charro beans. I saw a review somewhere questioning the thin sliced hot dogs in the charro beans. Not uncommon in family recipes in South Texas or North Mexico. If you haven’t seen that before you might be taken back, until you taste them. Delicious. One of those recipes that in 5 years some restaurant in Austin or San Antonio will be serving those charro beans, they’ll have 2.5h waiting line, and people will be going on and on about the incredible, unique charro beans.

Food was great! The server was very nice, loved the atmosphere of the place! I had the birra, it had good flavor. And my partner got the barbacoa and he says best he’s had in a while!

Short story, we won’t fight to get back to this restaurant. Mediocre at best.

Long story – Estrada’s is on the newer side. The waiter was friendly & welcoming but not in any way that stood out. Hubby had beef fajitas & I had chicken enchiladas verde. Neither dish was particularly hot. Beef was tough & salty. Chicken in the enchilada was dry & didn’t have much flavor. The building is simply a metal building with concrete floors. No decor other than neon beer signs and a big hole in the wall where something was obviously under construction.

Upside: Dog friendly, service was fast, prices moderate, brisket was some of the better I’ve had, rest of food really good. Parking lot could accommodate vehicles with trailers.
Downside: Basic decor, outside needs work. I think the steaks are priced a little high.
Comments: Review based on one visit. Will eat here again and would recommend. Two meals and 4 beers was $58.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews. I’ll just say the steak wasn’t good for around here price wise. Neither were the mashed potatoes. So what ever they are doing probably should change if they want to be called a steak house. Order the other food and I think you will be happy.
