Wei Wei Asian Express has the best orange chicken I’ve ever had. The quality is amazing, and the food tastes truly authentic. I had the chance to speak with the owner, and it’s very clear how much they care about their customers, the overall experience, and the quality of their food. The staff is incredibly kind and makes you feel welcome right away especially Noah and E. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for authentic Chinese food in San Diego. And the pricing is great, especially for the quality you get.

The food was simply underwhelming. Not bad, but extremely, unequivocally mid. I was attracted to this place because of the reviews and social media recommendations but everything lacked flavor. I tried the beef kung pao, veggie chow mein, and wontons. The chow mein was dry and extremely unsatisfactory while the beef dish showed promise yet disappointed at every bite. The rice was painful to eat and had undoubtedly been sitting there for some time. In fact, the food was so mid that I was motivated to leave my very first review. The service was good, no issues there. I want to reiterate, the food was not bad it was simply mid. So come in expecting mid food.

Probably the best S&P Wings I’ve had in San Diego. Super crunchy, very flavorful and reasonably priced. I went based on a TikTok I saw recently, and was not disappointed! The chicken Chow Mein and cream cheese wontons were also really good. Definitely recommend you go try them!

Salt and pepper wings were my favorite from our order. Everything else was also amazing. We took it to go. They have a vented box for the wings, so they stay crunchy. My new spot for the salt and pepper wings.

I ate here a while back, the Salt and pepper wings were amazing!! Crunchy and flavorful. The Strawberry chicken, was a very unique flavor, I know it sounds odd but you have to give it a try. I remember several years ago they use to have paper to go containers it is great seeing where they’re at now

I love salt and pepper chicken wings. After seeing an Instagram video online about this place rivaling a National City legend, I had to check it out. I went on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of parking and available seating inside. I ordered a dozen wings, vegetable fried rice, and a lemon black tea. The wings were crunchy and satisfying. They were crispy without being greasy. The flavor was awesome. The tea was great and the rice was decent.

This was my first visit, and I came for the salt n pepper chicken wings.
Counter and table service was friendly and welcoming.
We also ordered the house fried rice to go with our wings.
It was moist, really tasty, and flavorful without adding any soy sauce.

Food was from a 10 to 1 scale was a 4 being nice. Why are you guys so stingy when it comes to rice. Small container of rice, however give a bigger plate of food. Being from the east coast Chinese food is golden. I had order chicken with broccoli. Majority of it was just broccoli barely any chicken. This place needs to do better honestly.

Tucked away in a strip mall, this spot is easy to miss but well worth seeking out. When I arrived at 5:30 PM, the place was already hopping with people picking up orders–a sign of its popularity! The food was reasonably priced and quite good overall. My only critique is that the salt and pepper chicken wings could use a bit more flavor, though they delivered on crunch.

#EveryBitesBetterWithChopsticks ***WEI WEI is THE BEST ASIAN FOOD THAT I HAVE EVER HAD*** Not exaggerating! Fernando insisted upon it once and I was completely blown away, super unprepared. He ordered orange chicken, I scoffed and I tried some of his and it was just this amazing third dimension with the rind, I just couldn’t believe it. Everything is amazing. I got beef and broccoli… today I got the walnut shrimp and their special chicken they have with beef lo mein noodle (chow mein for the kooks) & fried rice… I’m ready to see my dad!!!
