Food was alright, had the Kung Pao Tofu which I felt couldve been more flavorful. But it was a pretty sizable portion for the lunch special! On the other hand the crab rangoons were perfect. Sooooo so so so crispy wow, good amount of filling, and the sweet and sour sauce was strong!

The place is nice and clean they hve great customer service and the food was nice and hot but the rice is blan and it’s not the best at all … no flavor the grab ragoons weren’t good and they may fave thing to get on the menu I give them a 7/10

My husband and I dropped in for lunch and ate off their lunch special menu. It is a lot of food. Both of us got a bowl of soup.
I had the hot & sour soup, it was very good. It actually had a little kick to it as well as the sour taste, which I like. I had the lunch portion of pork with green beans – very fresh and it had the right amount of garlic . Very tasty! Happy to find a place that has the fresh green bean stir fry! My husband had the egg drop soup and orange chicken with fried rice, which he also said was great – and he wasn’t able to eat it all.
A great value for sure hard to find anymore!

This place is a family staple in our home. The quality and speedy delivery keep us going back. Even during the COVID years they provided us with familiar comfort at our home. Everyone we encountered whether via phone or in person at the restaurant is super kind and welcoming. We have our favorite from Mongolian beef, to Kung pao chicken, and a variety of shrimp dishes you can’t go wrong. Wonton soup and egg rolls are a must for our order.

We order from here all the time. Great food. Tonight we ordered via DoorDash and quick delivery as usual. We were sent hot and sour soup instead of wonton soup. I called the restaurant and they immediately sent us the wonton soup. NO other restaurant does this. They all want you to get a refund with no consideration about what some people can or can’t eat. They went way above and beyond!!!!! Thank you and we will order from you always. I can’t say enough about their customer service and good.

Everything was great just a few things. The fried rice was horrible… no flavor and tasted like cardboard. The dumplings were soupposed to be pan fried but they were deff deep fried. We got 2 sweet and sour chicken which was great, orange chicken was great, chicken and broccoli was great.. I didnt have the egg rolls so I cant judge. The dumplings were good but not as advertised.

My family loves Chinese food and while we have our go- to restaurants that are located near our home, we are more than willing to drive a little out of the way to find Chinese food that is exceptional. A good example is Grand Imperial Chinese Restaurant in Katy, Texas.
This restaurant is small on the inside, but larger than many other Chinese restaurants, the bulk of which cater more to carry out than dine- in crowds and are thus very small. The lighting is cool and I like the long, communal style table in the middle of the restaurant, perfect for a larger size party of friends or family.
The main reason to select Grand Imperial Chinese Restaurant is the food and what sets it apart is the quality of the ingredients they use. We usually get an assortment of different foods when we go out for Chinese and then share the items. I have had a few different chicken meals here, beef, and pork and found everything delicious. I was actually most impressed with the fried rice. It tasted much fresher and more natural than others, like the rice had just been harvested a few days before,
Grand Imperial serves select healthy options like Broccoli with Bean Curd and vegetarian options such as Vegetable Deluxe. The food is prepared and served with care and guess what?- the prices are actually less than those of other Chinese restaurants in the area. With so much going for it, Grand Imperial Chinese Restaurant is going to become one of my family’s go- to Chinese eateries. A few extra miles of driving are worth it for excellent food that is priced right.

My husband’s mango in his mango beef was not ripe, and when he advised them, they offered him a free wonton soup. We’ll, he didn’t enjoy that. I was truly disappointed because he recommended the restaurant since he went there previously and raved about it. My food was good, but the description wasn’t accurate. All in all it’s a nice place. I just think they should be more mindful of taking care of their customers properly. They could’ve easily remade his food without “us” requesting them to do it!

Extremely delicious. The quintessential American style Chinese food restaurant but in a very good way. The no MSG promise is kept so the flavors are natural and without an all-day thirst that most places leave you with. Here it is several hours after eating and I am still satiated and not parched as if I have walked through the desert. Highly recommended.
