The blackened shrimp, southwest egg rolls, and. Hush puppies are fantastic! The Parmesan truffle fries are better than Hop Doddy’s and theirs are good; the Parmesan truffle dip makes these fries some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Portions were huge! The freshly fried fish made these tacos really good; to get that Texan flavor they could use a few more toppings like a lemon wedge, cilantro, fresh hot salsa. The fish makes it good anyway you look at it. This restaurant has the best raspberry sweet tea, too!

Visited on a Friday and had AYCE fish. It was better than expected. Fresh, hot and tasted good. Tots and beans on the side were both great. A little loud in the dining room. I had bluegill on an earlier visit and it was excellent. Worth a visit.

Stopped in for a quick beer and some takeout. Service was outstanding, even with more patrons rolling in. Had the spicy beans, they were excellent. Ordered the steak sandwich meal to go with chips. Ordered everything extra on it. Steak was descent quality just a little over cooked from what I ordered. It was still tasty, and steak is easy to cook too long. I will definitely be back. They were short staffed and the two ladies running the whole operation did an exceptional job! Great place for good food! They need a sign out on the nearby highway so more people can find them!

Wegners Lakeside is a must experience Destination. The Owners Rachel, and Tom pour their heart and soul into this place and it shows. They have Acoustic artists playing on ocassion and the night i went the show was phenominal, music and comedy in one. Everyone on the staff and even the crowd is pleasant to be around, and the food is Award Winning. I had the shrimp tacos that were to die for, and whiskey sours made just right. If you are looking for a destination to experience, let Wegners Lakeside be that place! 10/10

Classic laker bar & grill. Impressive menu with some fun options. My wife couldn’t finish her giant baked potato, and she really wanted to! I always try the Reuben, if they offer it. Best Reuben I’ve had since the last time I was on the east coast! Plus they actually have giardiniera for their Italian beef!!
