such a lovely surprise in the area. I was looking for some place to eat and stumble upon this restaurant. and didnt expect the food are so good.
the space is big and we were seated in the back where is a bit quiet and private. the restaurant is not busy at the time, service was fast .
the duck wing is a must have, and the she crab soup is delicious as well. i had the risotto with scallops. the scallops are big and perfectly seared. risotto is creamy.

The food and service was delicious, amazing and superb! Our family had a meal here for Father’s day and everyone enjoyed it. The young man that served us provided excellent service. Didn’t catch his name or a picture of him.
They set us in our own room. It was very nice.

This food at this restaurant was awesome. The Crab stuff flounder was and different. It has broth at the bottom and it brings the whole dish together. Our waitress was awesome and the managers was awesome as well. We came in and the greeted me for my birthday and the waitress did the same. I will be come back. I recommend this restaurant. This is a terrific restaurant to go to yall.

While in the Williamsburg area, we happened to be celebrating our anniversary. We were looking for a nice restaurant for the occasion and decided to go here. It was a good choice. The ambiance was perfect for a couples night and the food was delicious. I had the salmon with rice and braised greens. My husband had the lamb and cheese grits. We also tried the peach cobbler for dessert. Everything was really good. To top it all off, they gave us a Champagne toast for our anniversary. The service was great. Our waitress made sure we were taken care of very nicely. We left happy that we choose to come for our very special occasion.

A great evening out! The bar crowd was so much fun. Then dinnner was superb. Our waitress was delightful and dinner was amazing. My wife had the lamb chops and I ordered the tuna presentation. Both came out just as we asked and were very tasty.

Absolutely phenomenal. Service was exceptional with Mike from the bar. The fish dish was a flounder, perfectly done. Wifey had the shrimp and grits. The smokey sauce on those were well worth the price of admission. The oysters were excellent and on special during happy hour. We will absolutely be back!

Manager was a jerk after we were served the entree portion of scallops instead of the appetizer portion we ordered. When we pointed this out after seeingbthe bill, he asked us if we had eaten them all and whether we had enjoyed them, and thus concluded that we must pay the dinner price. So much for “the customer is always right.” The server was otherwise wonderful as was all of our food (except the chocolate lava cake which was below average). The rude manager threw a wet towel on our excellent dinner, unfortunately.

The food is really good, and the restaurant is beautiful and classy inside. Our waitress was not very friendly. She took our orders, never smiled, and did not care to explain the menu when we had a question. Once we received our meal we didn’t see her until she brought us the check. We had questions about our meals, wanted more water, alcohol beverages, needed salt and pepper, etc. but we couldn’t find her. For such a nice place she was not a great waitress. I will go back but will make sure I don’t sit in her section.
