This is the best place to eat! The employees are friendly, helpful, and caring! They come over to your table while you are eating to make sure everything is just how it should be. They also will make up hamburgers and chicken sandwiches during breakfast hours – much better than McDonald’s who refused to let me have a hamburger at 9:30 a.m. after I had been up since 4! The food is delicious too – just try a cheesy or a buffalo chicken sandwich

My Cheeeeeesy burger was full of cheese and two delicious meat patties. Everything we got was good. Strange to find this not-so-prevalent international franchise burger place in this sleepy town but I sure appreciated it. From how busy they were, I think the locals appreciated it too. I would recommend them if you can find one near you. I guess you could start your own franchise too…

Found a gem in the middle of nowhere Wyoming.
We were actually looking for a Wendy’s type of burger place fast food and the first one to pop up was this place.
A quick glance at the name and wasn’t too sold. Then another quick look at pictures of the food they served and we knew we had to give it a go.
Man were we in for a surprise.
Only other place to give me such a thrill eating a burger was ShakeShack in Manhattan, NY.
It was pure chance.
The staff was so nice and helpful in guiding us in our choices.
The food is cooked to order so expect a little wait. The buns are tasty, the meat is flavored and the fries are natural. They also have other sides if you fancy pretzel bites etc…
You can also build your own burger from scratch.
Almost went with a triple pattie but back down to a double cheeseburger.
Also picked up a shake and it was good.
Definitely recommend this place if you’re in these parts.
A real gem I wish was more spread out. They really need to expend.

My family and I stopped in around 11am on Sunday, July 1, 2018 and were treated AMAZINGLY by the staff. Right away we were greeted and were told about the menu as we have never been to a Wayback Burgers before. The food and portions were delicious and huge! The restaurant was clean as well! If you ever find yourself around Newcastle stop here and grab a bite, you won’t regret it! Thank you so much for the hospitality and kindness; places like this are why I love calling Wyoming home!

From outside it looks like a hole in the wall in the middle of no where.. well if you are from a big city… but if you go in the restaurant look modern and clean.
Food was prepared after I ordered which I like about this place. I ordered Buffalo Chicken burger with fried and drink. Burger feel soft and fries were fresh. They gave generous mount of fries, and condiments. The food is like McDonald’s but it tasted fresher.
I recommend this place if you want a McDonald’s substitute in Newcastle, Wyoming.

Was looking forward to trying this place. Order chicken strips. Got them with breading falling off and overcooked. Grease tasted like it was burnt. Nothing that we ordered was any good. Manager was upset that I complained about food quality and argued with me. She said this chicken looks great. Place is trash!!!!!!

Husband and I were on our way to Mount Rushmore from California. We stopped at this place that seemed to have good burgers. We ordered our food after 20+ min. I asked about our food because other people that came after us were getting their food and it turns out they somehow misplaced our order. I was so disappointed and upset that I asked for a refund. Customer service is non existent. I felt bad for the cook who issued my refund.

My family brags about this place all the time on their adventures. Great food (IF they could have gotten the sauce on my burger I asked for, also if the cheese on my bacon cheese fries wasn’t just random sliced cheese and if it was actually melted, and if they could have just put caramel in my brownie shake like I asked)…
The lack of staff is a huge thing which is totally understandable but I hope your staff learns to put more love into the cleanliness and understanding of what we do and don’t want on/ in our food or shakes. I want to see more pride in there the next time I go in. More cleanliness and better cheese on the bacon fries.

Wayback Burgers with a great stop on our way back to Custer from Devil’s Tower in Wyoming. The food was fresh and burgers were delicious.
