Stumbled across this gem and unexpected treat a Caribbean ice cream shop in the shopping plaza. Went to check it out and saw standard flavor ice creams along with classic and unique selection of Caribbean flavored ice creams – some that I have never seen before. Although I’m an ice cream connoisseur.

I was greeted right away and the nice girl behind the counter who offered a sample when she heard me comment I’ve never seeing some of these flavors before. Highly appreciated this elevated customer service. The rum banana bread and island poundcake are delicious. Since Rum Raisin is my all-time favorite, I went with the Appleton Rum Raisin (first time trying this version) and Guinness Stout in a waffle cone. Both were creamy flavorful and delicious. The waffle cone was also fresh, perfect thickness, with a nice crunch and held my fast melting Rum Raisin very well. Glad I got it. Wonderful experience along with great service. This shop isn’t big and doesn’t have seating areas. Purchase and go. Looking forward to going back to try their other flavors. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4.5/5) – A Flavor Party for the Whole Family!

Localicious Caribbean Ice Cream is where culture, flavor, and good vibes collide! The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by vibrant Bob Marley murals and iconic Black artists lining the walls—a feast for the eyes before you even taste the ice cream. What really makes this place special is how it caters to both parents and kids—while adults can indulge in boozy rum-infused scoops with a legit kick (you’ll feel that warmth in your throat!), the little ones can go wild for tropical fruit flavors and classic favorites.

The service? Impeccable. The staff treated us like family, enthusiastically suggesting flavors and even letting us sample before committing. Their ‘grown-up’ ice cream is next-level—rich, bold, and way more flavorful than any other Caribbean-inspired scoop shop we’ve tried.

Now, the only downside: that $9 waffle cone price tag had me blinking twice. While I get that quality ingredients and small-batch production cost more, it does make this more of a “treat yo’self” spot than an everyday stop.

Perfect for:
• Parents craving a rum-spiked dessert while kids enjoy non-alcoholic tropical flavors
• Families wanting a fun, culturally rich outing (the music playlist is !)
• Anyone tired of basic ice cream chains and wanting real Caribbean flair

We’ll definitely be back—maybe for their next live music night! Just wish those cones came with a side of lottery winnings.

**Pro Tip:** Grab a pint to-go—their strawberry-rum swirl tastes even better at home!

We recently visited this local Jamaican ice cream place in Miramar, and I was absolutely blown away! They offer an amazing variety of flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. Some of my personal favorites include the Appleton Rum Raisin, Nut Rum, and Pumpkin Rum—flavors that are truly unique to this spot.

The customer service is top-notch, with the staff being super friendly and attentive. The owner is always there working and is incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do.

If you’re in the area and looking for a treat that combines traditional flavors with a Jamaican twist, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend.

I was passing by when I saw this ice cream shop, so I decided to try it, and I was truly surprised by all the different flavors they have. The person who served me was a girl named Nicki, very friendly, very attentive, and very cheerful. I really loved it and I’ll definitely be back. 100% recommended.

This was my second time here and I can certainly see the difference with the change in staff. The customer service was good as the two gentlemen serving us were friendly and did not hesitate when we asked for samples. They also have some vegan varieties. We ended up getting a party size container of Rummy Nut, Dragon Stout and Baileys. My only complaint is that the ice cream here tends to be of a softer consistency so it melts quicker. Otherwise the store was inviting and most importantly clean.

This place absolutely rocks! I highly recommend blending flavors for a milkshake. Haven’t been disappointed yet. Well worth it. They seem to swap out flavors over time. All the fruity ones were gone today. But there’s always a chance to try new ones.

While on vacation in Miami we were craving tropical ice cream. We found this place and gave it a try. I got grape nut and sorrel rum ice cream. My husband got grape nut and bun and cheese ice cream. The bun and cheese ice cream was delicious. The grape nut and sorrel rum were disappointing. I sampled the Soursop and Dragon Stout ice cream but they were not good. The lady serving was unpleasant. She was on the phone when we walked in. She appeared annoyed that we ordered and interrupted her phone call.

Extremely rude staff I am a long supporter of this establishment. I reside two hours away I love the sour sop ice cream however in one of my recent visits I was given a milkshake with expired milk. When I returned to the store the store associate stated I was not given a shake with expired milk. Despite me bringing the shake back. The store is consistently running out of items and most of the time no one intends to pick up the phone. In my last visit the three young ladies were very rude especially the one with the braids and bandana she snatched the shake out of my hand, yelled, and demonstrated a multitude of rude and unprofessional behavior. I emailed this establishment and did not receive any response back therefore I am left to leave this review.
