I’ve been out in the Hamptons for about a month now, eating out almost every night — and Wayan & Ma·dé Out East was far and away the best restaurant I’ve been to.
The food was unreal: grilled pork ribs that fell right off the bone (so yum!). The fluke crudo tasted incredibly fresh. Both the corn dumplings and corn fritter were standouts. We also had a beautiful mango salad, perfectly tender fried squid, richly flavored eggplant, and even the coconut rice was a highlight.
Don’t even get me started on the desserts — they tasted too good. Seriously.
Service was great, the sunset view was beautiful, the seating was super comfortable, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between relaxed and refined. We sat in an outdoor room that was air-conditioned — just a perfect experience all around.

Its been more than 20 years since I’ve been to Bali, and some of these flavors took me back. We are all so pleased with our dining experience, we will be back before the end of our stay. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming and each dish was absolutely exquisite. When we could go anywhere, visiting the same place twice in one week speaks volumes.

I’ve eaten here twice now. And I have to say, the service and food are 10/10. I first sat at the bar, and Eric took care of me, his drinks were spot on and on time given how busy they were. Not to mention the nice conversation towards me and my partner.
Second time it was my anniversary, the staff was very accommodating with the special occasion. Glass of bubbly and a dessert for the lovely couple . Definitely made our night special. The lobster noodles are ALWAYS my go to! They had a razor clams special, it should definitely be a menu item for the summer. TO DIE FOR!
I will be back!

I love everything about this restaurant! Make sure to visit while you’re Out East!!
The people were very welcoming from the entrance, the vibes of the restaurant is perfect especially for summer – I believe they also curate the songs carefully. The food, oh the food is the one that makes me want to return. The flavor is so bold and creative! My favorite will be the Tuna Tartar, Lobster Noodle no doubt, Corn Fritter, and the Fresh Berries!!

We ate outside with our yellow lab at a high top. Unfortunately it was in the sun and quite hot. We asked to be moved to the shade but it was not possible. However, the food was amazing, the service was incredible and they could not do enough for us!! The manager came over to chat with us and he sent over a slushee made with Rose’ to help us cool off, then corn fritters with our dinner that were so delicious that I’m still thinking about them, and lavender ice cream alongside our dessert! We ordered the Spring Rolls and Sashimi to start, the Lobster noodles, the ribs, the Asian rice with an egg on top and chocolate mousse with avocado ice cream. My Cosmo was excellent (& I’m a Cosmo snob) and the entire staff made our dining experience there unforgettable! I can’t wait to go back the next time we take our boat there from Connecticut!

My experience here was outstanding. The location has a great vibe and a great view. Unlike many of the manhattan imports the beachy vibe of Bali translates well here to the beach feel out east. The food is just as good as the NYC location, the lobster noodles, the pork ribs, the cocktails, etc are all outstanding. The owners who run the kitchen and front of the house are there making it feel like a locals spot who put in the time and effort to make sure everyone gets the best food and hospitality. They have a great bar scene and it’s also excellent for larger groups. Can’t wait to go back.

We had eaten at the Wayan popup last year on Race Lane but really enjoyed the waterside setting this summer. Food was excellent. We had the avocado cocktail and it was perfection. Fluke sashimi was tender and beautifully seasoned. Squid had a bit too much batter on it versus squid for us though it was tasty. My husband enjoyed his butterfish. The standout was the black sea bass, perfectly cooked with a crispy skin and a killer citrus sauce. Yum. We were lucky to sit outside at a high top with a pretty view over the marina. Super waitress Rainah was friendly and charming. Even if the food sucked we would probably go back just to chat with her. I hope they can make this a permanent fixture in EH.

Was a fast food experience. We ordered and in ten minutes the 5 appetizers and 4 entrees all arrived at the same time . When you’re having steak it needs to be hot . Advice is to ask them to send appetizer first . $600 dinner in fast food environment!! The food was very good

Absolutely amazing food. Wayan x Ma•dé Out East brings a refreshing burst of bold, vibrant flavors to the Hamptons dining scene. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. Love the unique Indonesian cuisine with French touch!
The ambiance is effortlessly chic yet welcoming, with beachy vibes perfect for a summer evening. The staff is warm, attentive, and made the entire experience feel special from start to finish.
An incredible addition to the East End—whether you’re a local or just visiting, this spot is a must-try. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Food was average at best and lacked any real flavor. The 5 fatty ribs for $34 was a joke. The crab fried rice had barely any crabmeat and the special whole fluke lacked any real flavor. Plus the place was hot and muggy.
