Never had a problem before but whoever working Jan 4th 2026 are literally on a very unbusy night their cook is giving out old stale food two orders off fries literally hard enough to be dog treats shouldn’t sound like I’m chewing teeth that picture is me attempting to squeeze the fries and it sounds like deer in the woods

I’m reaching out to share a recent experience my wife had at your locations. She had an issue with her order and politely brought it to an employee’s (a heavyset light-skinned dude) attention. Unfortunately, the response she received was, “nobody cares about your order.”
We understand mistakes happen and that customer-facing roles can be stressful, but that response was disappointing and unnecessary. We weren’t looking for anything beyond basic help and respect.
Wawa has always had a reputation for friendly, reliable service, which is why this interaction stood out so much. I hope this feedback can be used as a coaching opportunity so future customers don’t walk away feeling dismissed.

Update: Spoke to the GM so giving the another star for effort. Lets see if they reach back with a conclusion.

The store at 301 mercury blvd in hampton Virginia is the SORRIEST store i have ever been to. On NUMEROUS occasions my husband and i have ordered food through the app and then find out AFTER paying that they dont have a certain food in stock and today was the final straw. We called in ADVANCE to check and see if they had the food we wanted and we were told yes. Then my husband goes to get the order on the way home and they conveniently didnt have it AGAIN! This is completely unacceptable and extremely pathetic! its happen more than 5 times now. Its always something with this store. Either its something being out of stock or something getting substituted without notifying us or even asking us if the substitution is okay. Its beyond ridiculous at this point! FIX THIS OR HIRE A COMPETENT MANAGER TO HANDLE IT BECAUSE APPARENTLY THE CURRENT ONE DOESNT KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEYRE DOING!

This place is very poor
I came in to get the $6 meal my daughter wanted just chips and I wanted a chicken sandwich and a drink so . I get like 65% in to eating the chicken and I noticed that it felt squishy and took long to chew and I turned my light on multiple times to look at it but what I thought was melted cheese I took out a chunk and put it back in the sandwich box and here I go saying let me take another bite it chew normal then I begin to swallow and I taste a weird taste
Tell me why I took everything off and ate just the chicken !!!!!!! And BOOM THE CHICKEN IS RAW I didn’t notice how fast they fried the chicken for the sandwich it’s fast food so of course I’m not thinking about the speed … However I feel very sick to the stomach !!!
Not to mention the white guy and the black guy looked at me together when I walked in and the white guy goes , that’s for you !!!
Yet alone the the black guy under cook my food NEVER WILL I EVER ORDER FOOD HERE AGAIN !!! AND IF I GET ANYTHING MORE THAN AN UPSET STOMACH IM SUEING !!!

The staff was unbelievably rude! Four times I was asked if I was Doordash and each time I had to tell them that I was not. Then because I said I wasn’t Doordash, they said I was rude and disrespectful. I will never come to this Wawa again!

The quality of the cooked food sucks!! Every time I get a breakfast sandwich the bottom piece of bread is hard! These people come to work for the check and not the quality of service! It’s not everyone it’s one specific guy with short blond hair. He is very funny. I had a special order today along with another young lady and waited 30 minutes for a 5 minute sandwich. If they get rid of him it would be a lot better. It makes you afraid to even eat the food

Notice to the owners. This you need to check behind this Wawa. Either there’s a management ordering issue or a logistics issue of some sort. And the last 2 months I have come here 4 separate occasions and they had shut down drink orders. Not only from the app but also internally in the store. The first time they told me it was because they didn’t have anybody to cover drinks they were sure staffed.. The next occasion there was no explanation. The third occasion it was they were having technical issues. This occasion is because they have no ice and the only way that they we’re able to eliminate drinks from the menu that had ice was they had to shut the whole drink when you down both inside the store and outside. This is becoming like McDonald’s and their ice cream machine what is really going on.?! We coming here way too often to experience this. The only reason I gave it to stars is because most of the time the Frontline employees are very friendly. But you are losing losing of money with drink issues. This visit was for three milkshakes, oh and by the way today is Mother’s Day approx. 330 pm Imagine how much money you’re losing. The other visits were for espressos drinks. During my morning commute. So unfortunately now the store is no longer a dependable part of my morning commute.

Pumps probably had issues but I paid the cashier and the security guard wants to add extra and I did not do any transactions with him at all.
