Picture this: You’re driving around Tulsa, Oklahoma on a beautiful Friday afternoon, hungry for some pizza or Italian food. You stumble upon Savastano’s joint and think yeah, this is my place. Well I’m here to tell you: yes, this is your place. This is one of the best overall lasagnas I’ve ever had. They know what they’re doing. Great gravy. I didn’t eat the pizza, but WOW did it look visually appealing. And the service?? Absolutely top notch. Couldn’t recommend Savastano’s in Tulsa, Oklahoma enough

Our first time in and it did not disappoint well worth the 4hr drive ! We had the Sears tower….. that cheese pull though !!!!!! We will be back !!! Prob enough that we will need to take stock in a fuel company to pay the way. Of course my better half his review is way better than mine.
Our waitress she was stellar !

The server Beth wasn’t the best. It was pretty slow when we went and she wasn’t attentive AT ALL! Ordered the endless salad and she had an attitude when I asked for my second salad then accused my husband for eating the salad and he was not. Then when asked for a to go box for our pizza she felt the need to tell us that we couldn’t take the salad it was for dine in only since it was endless. We didn’t even plan to taking it. It was a very uncomfortable visit. Wasn’t enjoyable. The food was ok although it was cold. The service really ruined my appetite!!

This place is always good. Many places will claim “Chicago Style Pies” but most are lying and giving you deep dish that takes 20 min or less to cook. This IS Chicago pizza. It’s 35 to 40 min from order to serve. And it is Great. When you are this far from Chicago and get a pizza that is just as good as a Giordanos or Ginos East, and dare I say better than Lou Malnatti’s its a treat.

First time trying Chicago deep dish and it did not disappoint! Waitress was amazing while handling the bar by herself, the pizza was fabulous, got the 12″ original Chicago deep dish and it was well seasoned and the crust was unbelievably good!

The pizza was ok. I was expecting a better flavor. It was bland to all of us. Party of four. We love pizza. I’ll give them another try one day. For now I’ll stick to La Roma’s. To bad Francos is closed.

It was our first time here. To start with the main event we tried both the deep dish and the regular crust. The deep dish was fantastic 5-star for sure. The regular crust was great and would have been the star at any other pizza place, but after that deep dish, it was a strong 4.8. We tried the 3-item sampler and the Chicago dog also. Everything we had was worth coming back for. I’m glad we were told to give this place a try. I was very pleased with the outcome. The beer was ice cold and our service was awesome. If you have never had a Chicago deep dish and are in the Tulsa area I would recommend stopping by and giving it a try.

Y’all, let’s start out by saying I’ve been looking for authentic Chicago style pizza in Oklahoma since 2023 when I first tried it in Cisero,Illinois. Not a single place in western Oklahoma or Oklahoma City could even come close! Even “Chicago Pizza”, the failed chain, couldn’t compare. This weekend, on my way back from a trip through Arkansas, the need for the deep dish delicacy was unbearable to ignore! I had heard about Savastano’s through a Facebook reel and decided a trip through Tulsa couldn’t be that bad to give it a shot. First impression was the atmosphere which was fun! The bar downstairs was packed! My dreams of finding the perfect pizza was dwindling with the amount of people there Then came a glimmer of hope! A sign that said restaurant is upstairs! Those few steps up seemed like a trek through the Sahara with my ever-growing anticipation! As I turned the corner at the top of the stairs, my spidey-senses picked up a welcoming feeling!(or it could have been i needed to pee) The room opened up to a very nice, organized restaurant full of Chicago memorabilia! Now, fast forward to me sitting down, menu in hand, and my time to actually order. With a shakey voice and child-like excitement, I ordered the Sears tower, pepperoni and cheese. I didn’t want to crowd my judgment under a bunch of ingredients. When the pizza finally arrived after a short eternity, like 10 minutes, the beauty that was bestowed in front of me looked like a masterpiece that only Bob Ross could paint! As I was wiping the tears from my eyes from marveling the beauty, the amazing waitress was plating the first piece for me, which had a cheese pull of about 4.8km! Or possibly about 8-10 inches. I don’t know the metric system ♂️ As the first bite cleared my teeth and ever so gently tickled my taste buds, it was apparent that there is not a chef in the back, but an angel that God had personally sent to construct this magnificent work of art! I think his name was Travis or Kevin, I really don’t know. Y’all, the heavens opened up, angels were singing, and my favorite cat that passed away when I was 8 appeared! I HAVE FOUND MY NEW PIZZA PLACE!!! Will definitely be making the 3 hour trip back to try some of the other items!!

They have great food and our waitress was on her game. She kept our drinks filled and took very good care of us. We bought 2 LG pizzas for 5 people(2 are big pizza eaters) and we still brought almost half home. I definitely recommend it.

Savastano’s deep dish pizza is by far the best pizza you will get in the entire state of Oklahoma. A small deep dish easily feeds 2 people with leftovers. Their Italian sausage is flat out disgusting though so DO NOT order that. Small Meat Packer sub Italian Sausage for extra crushed meatball is our go to. Keep in mind and I believe it also states on the menu that the wait time for a deep dish is 45 minutes. Love the Tater Kegs. House made ranch is very good. Tried to sit at the bar area once and got zero service so we left. This place has lots of stairs… it’s 3 levels. There is a zig zag ramp to the second main level if needed.
