It’s a lovely old inn and tavern from the 1800’s. The food is exceptional and the dining room is nice. The bar area is worth hanging around. I recommend the happy hour in the outside gardens bar.

This place is such a vibe. We biked here about four hours down the towpath from way up north, with a quick stop in New Hope, and were absolutely starving when we arrived. The food did not disappoint. We had the crab-stuffed shrimp special, the steak with baked potato, sour cream, and asparagus, and the mahi-mahi with spinach and rice pilaf. Everything was excellent.
For drinks, I had the lavender cocktail (so good), and my friend had a beer along with a strawberry-looking drink he really liked. The staff were kind enough to charge our phones for the ride back, which was a lifesaver.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a fun atmosphere. Most of the crowd was older and on the wealthier side, but the vibe was still great.

Cool & cozy place. Very nice holiday decorations, too. If you are at all into the history, you’ll have an added plus–the park is within walking distance. We had brunch. I would love to try the dinner menu. Cheers to General Washington!

What a delightful experience! The Inn is lovely and the seating spaces are very nice.
All of the food we had was incredible!! We ordered flatbread and vegetable tempura for apps – both delicious! Their bread was to die for, it was heated and very soft and yummy!
Our meals were excellent! We ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, Prime Rib and Flounder with Crab Stuffing! All were amazing!
Lastly, we shared 2 desserts – Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter cake and the Coconut Mousse Cake. Both were absolutely divine!
Overall a wonderful dining experience!!

Stopped in for a drink after work on. July night. First time visiting. The place has a wonderful outdoor bar and seating area. Also a fairly large lawn area likely available for larger outdoor parties.
Inside is a classic 1800’s vibe which is comfy and welcoming.
Didn’t get to try the menu this time but definitely will be back for that.

We always enjoy the food here. Consistently served hot and with great presentation. The sides, especially, are so tasty and well prepared. The outdoor bar and seating area is relaxing and pleasant in the warm weather. The bartenders are friendly and make creative cocktails (especially Megan). They have happy hour M-F 4-6PM and live music at times in the main bar and outside in the summer. We’ve enjoyed Christmas parties in the banquet room as well. The Inn looks so festive during Christmas time. The Chicken Schnitzel is amazing. Make sure to save room for dessert. Good idea to always make a reservation even for lunch and especially for the tea.

I have so many amazing things to say about this place. I had my wedding there in November, and from start to finish, it was the easiest, most beautiful experience. Our wedding guides were so warm and helpful and I am just so grateful to them. This venue is perfect for a wedding, the outdoor garden was just beautiful for our ceremony, and the ballroom was a perfect size for our group of roughly 110 guests. I was particularly appreciative of how careful they were with food, making absolutely certain they had everyone’s food allergies. And the drinks! Our signature drinks (an old fashioned and an Espresso martini) were a huge hit. Even before we got married, we started going there a lot just to hang at the bar and/or have dinner, and we got to know some of the bar tenders and servers, they were all so nice. And the food at this place! There’s not a bad meal on the menu. Our guests were raving about it. Danielle was just amazing with every single need we had, and I am so grateful to everyone at this place for how wonderful they made our experience.

Hosted a wonderful event in the ballroom last weekend. Family style luncheon. Beautiful atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and wonderful food. The food was so fresh tasting. Two guests required allergy friendly meals, and they were handled effortlessly. Both guests were very pleased. Loved the mimosa fountain. Everyone raved about the food and the setting. Ample parking and wheelchair accessible. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite local spots. Small inside bar but modern and nice. Fairly large outside bar, nice in good weather with oytside seating for foood and beverages. Food choices are above average, reasonable prices. Service on and off again. Depends when you come, how busy, staff. Service is a little inconsistent.
