Having food allergies can be very frustrating when eating out, but Wasab at the Joplin Mall has an amazing Chicken and rice with veggies. Just ask for no soy and no seasoning. This location seems to always be short staffed. The food is pretty good. Waitress was awesome but very busy due to short staff. Got the dinner box it was good, grilled salmon, shrimp tempera. Also got their version of the fire roll. The food is good, and the atmosphere needs to be updated. For what is available in Joplin area this is still one you can eat at that is decent.

First time here will definitely be back alot of food for a great price got we ordered steak and salmon came with salad with ginger dressing miso soup before the meal. With the meal we upgraded to fried rice with our meal it came with vegetables and noodles both. So amazing definitely worth the money. I love this place! I feel like there is sometimes a predisposition about restaurants inside malls, but this place is my go to sushi spot while I’m at college. The sashimi is cut thick so I never feel like I am getting juped for my $, I get the $21 sashimi regular, which comes with soup and salad, a spicy tuna (my fav) or California roll, and 8 big sashimi slices!
I would also like to highlight their stuff fried mushroom appetizer, the dipping sauce is yummy and I always get it!

The food was hot, the service was great. I have no complaints. Our server went out of their way to accommodate my preferences, I’m picky. The server didn’t roll their eyes or complain or speak to me in a condescending tone. I was very appreciative of the bit of extra time taken to meet my needs.

My wonderful husband took me out for a mother’s day meal. Trevor was the only one of my boys able to join Brett had a injured back. I got surprised by Trevor and his beautiful girlfriend with my favorite flowers and my favorite color of shirt gifted with a beautiful card. My baby boys ain’t babies no more.
