Omg I have been waiting so long to come here. And I finally made it. It did not disappoint me. Absolutely amazing. Prices were very reasonable. Very good selection.

Nice spot, friendly service, shaded outdoor seating. The shawarma roll was very tasty. The mushroom pastry was crisp but a little lacking in flavor. The filling in the plum turnover wasn’t my favorite but, again, the pastry was good. Overall , a solid choice. I would definitely come back to try other items.

Came in on a Saturday morning and were greeted immediately by the sweet ladies at the counter. We ordered the garlic quiche slice, spinach coca pastry, baklava latte, and the cardamom rose latte. The pastries were OK. You can tell they are homemade and from scratch which is the best part but the spinach pastry only tasted like spinach (which is fair) and the quiche was very very rich and wet/moist but a little too much. Our lattes were delicious and the syrups are made in-house, too. You can purchase a bottle of their vanilla bean syrup and cardamom rose syrup to take home which is super neat. The atmosphere is lovely with outdoor patio chairs and tables, as well.

I can see why it won James Beard award. The sweets and baked goods are very unique compare to other pastry shop/cafe.
I like the little Financiers, they have little gritty texture but moist and light. it goes well with coffee.
Bread is nice too, it is freshly baked and soft.
For parking, just park on the street. It is free.

I’m writing this review almost 6 months after visiting so that should say something about how I’m still thinking about this place… the Queen of Sheba was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Ever. In my whole life. (And I’ve had a lot of desserts.) I also recommend the shakshuka pastry (I think that’s what it was?) and chicory coffee (I *think* it was pretty sweet though, FYI). Can’t remember the name of the person who was working while I was there but I really appreciated his kindness and friendliness. Loved this place so much I came back a second time in my short trip to Detroit 🙂

I stopped there in a rainy day, I really enjoyed my order, especially tropezienne, the cream was great, not much sweet! Recommend!

The customer service was excellent and I loved the chocolate mousse that had an interesting touch of coffee flavor on top. I also thought the chocolate olive oil cake moist and unique.

With that being said: everything else was incredibly underwhelming. The blueberry tart had no taste other than blueberry and the base tasted like cornflakes. The lemon tart was only okay and the cookie was stale. Unfortunately, everything shown in this picture had one bite taken out of it then wound up in the garbage. $60+ wasted. I was very excited to eat here but it was honestly a disappointment.

Their mango cheesecake is a must try! Chic interior and great vibe. Coffee was alright but all the bakery items were awesome, especially the mango cheesecake.

Warda Pâtisserie is inviting and cozy, this hidden gem is making the best pastries you can find in Michigan. I highly recommend popping in for a savory slice of quiche, a sweet Maritozzi bun, or any of the rotating season items available by this unique bakery. The staff are cheerful, the sitting area is cute, and the pastries can make you feel like you’re back in Europe. I love this little Detroit pâtisserie and have been recommending it to all my friends.

I just ate probably the most delicious dessert of my life here. It was so light and airy and not overly sweet. 5 out of 5 stars!
