Our nugget history begins in the mid-1970s, when the original owner, Lou Iandoli and his business partner opened Garden Poultry in the heart of Greenwich, CT. In 1978, grabbing hold of an opportunity to grow and expand, Mr. Landoli opened under the name of Garden Catering on Sound Beach Avenue; which is now known as our flagship location. Sadly, Mr. Iandoli passed away in 1989 and Garden Catering closed its doors. Responding to the heartache of nugget fans everywhere, Frank Carpenteri Sr. purchased the business from Mrs. Iandoli, along with the secret recipes for Garden Catering’s famous fried chicken and nuggets. Very good find along the highway. The detour from I95 is minimal, so you don’t loose a lot of time but it offers some diversity from usual highway service areas. Very nice selection of breakfast sandwiches, nuggets are good. Corn fritters are my favorite. This place is very popular among the locals.

I can’t underestimate how great these sandwiches and chicken are. I had the morning clicker; BEC & chicken tenders on a potato roll with maple butter. It was so good, I contemplated having another one immediately afterwards.
The chicken is juicy and flavorful; the maple butter adds a new dimension of flavor to the traditional b.e.c. I would have taken a photo but I devoured this instantly. If you are in the area, grab lunch or breakfast then thank me later.

Grown up with this place. Moved to new location. Def nicer but still seems systems are getting worked out. Staff was more focused on getting mobile orders completed than people in store. Waited for 15 min for a wrap and high school. Food solid but getting a bit expensive and the wait was a drag.

As a new customer I have no idea what you guys are selling? Maybe some monitors showing what is on the menu. I’m like a deer in front of headlights. How much is a Lb of nuggets I’m getting. What does the sides look like? I wound up buying some kids meal because I wasn’t sure how much I was getting for almost $20.

Leaving this review in the hopes that management makes some changes. The food is delicious but this garden catering can’t seem to get delivery orders correct. Not looking to dissuade people from eating here, I still order from this place regularly. Just wish they would take the extra second to confirm the correct sauces are delivered and the food they make is what was ordered.
I ordered a steak egg and cheese and was delivered a bacon egg and cheese instead. Not the end of the world, it still tastes great, it’s just not what I ordered. This is probably the fifth time this has happened, and I’m starting to think I should only order from Mamaroneck.

This place is always awesome whenever I go but today I was caught off guard and shocked when I ordered the boss (over $20) and instead got what I think is the Junior (not heavy at all). Now they gave me a bag that was intended for the boss but there were only eight nuggets and not many fries in there. I only found out once I got home because I ordered multiple things and unfortunately I live 15 miles away from them so I did not go back. I had to eat some of my brothers food because I was still way too hungry. I posted the photo of the huge bag under the photos tab just so you can see how little was in it.
