Laid-back eatery serving up familiar Thai fare, including rice, noodle & curry entrees.

We were famished after our hikes and were in search for good thai food. We came here and got seated swiftly. This seemed more like a takeouts forward place as there were a number of people waiting for their order. We got chicken satay, crab rangoon, crab fried rice, papaya salad and noodles with chicken. The satay portion was huge, and the chicken wasn’t grilled well, although the marinade on it was tasty. The crab fried rice was great, well seasoned and fried. The papaya salad was bad – it was unevenly mixed which made one side of it spicy and the other bland, which we discovered later. The papaya didn’t seem fresh as well. The fried noodles with chicken were tasty. The crab rangoon had a crunchy pastry and the meat was succulent- the sweet chili sauce it came with matched it perfectly. We were asked whether we would be sharing anything besides appetizers and salad, which felt weird. I later saw an additional charge for those. Both the appetizers and salad are priced like entrees while the whole menu is priced like downtown seattle without the ambience and decor to back it up with. The cutlery seemed old and beaten down. The food is decent but not worth the hype I saw in public forums. I was left quite disappointed.

The food here is honestly so good — I always used to go to Rachawadees in Mount Vernon, but I tried this place and I think I like it more. The portions are a lot larger and it’s a sit down place. The people are nice and the food is fire. 10/10 would definitely recommend. I got 2 stars I think when I went, and I didn’t find it spicy, so next time i’ll probably get a 4 or so (for reference, my spice tolerance is average to be honest).

Wanida’s on Dupont has long been our “go to” Thai restaurant in Bellingham; love the service, staff, AND the food. We usually order Tom Kha soup with Panang Curry and Phad See Yew and always leave very satisfied. A week ago we also ordered their Coconut Prawns and were delighted. The prawns were cooked perfectly and served with a very tasty sauce. This evening I ordered their Larb salad and Wanida’s hit a home run! The sauteed chicken was tender, the lettuce crisp and snappy, and the salad’s “dressing” was very very tasty. All in all, the Larb salad was delicious and will be ordered more frequently.
Staff and food at Wanida Thai Cuisine continues to excel. Last night had Phad Khee Mow and Tom Kha both of which were delicious, then woke up this morning discussing how delicious each was with my spouse. Excellent seasonings use and served by the nicest staff in Bellingham – – – –

The food here is really good. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. It’s about $20 per person, more if you get drinks or appetizers. Portions are LARGE, which is great because you will probably have leftovers. Highly recommend.

Best green curry I’ve ever had. Spicy Noodle is a good sleeper – like Pad See Ew but a little more acidic and less sweet, with loads of vegetables. Staff are lovely, interior is very nice and well kept.

A visit to Wanida is always a top priority when I visit Bellingham! The food is fantastic & the service is always great. I’m still making my way through trying everything on the menu (which will take time because they’re great variety) but you can’t go wrong with any of the delicious options!
Some favorites so far: pad see ew, papaya salad, pad Thai, eggplant with tofu, the fried rice with pineapple, Thai iced tea, & fresh coconuts

Friendly staff, quick service, and good food. Chicken satay was my favorite of all It was yummy with peanut sauce. Lunch combo – Yellow curry, rice and Pad Thai. Yellow curry was delicious. Pad thai was average. Spicy noodles was good, just less noodles and more vegetables . They were kind enough to give me a free appetizer for my birthday .
Will come back to try other dishes if visiting Bellingham sometime again soon!

Wanida Thai is our favorite Bellingham Thai restaurant. Their food has fantastic flavor, depth, and is colorful. If you like a hot spice level, be sure to order a 5 though. We ordered a 4 and while I was happy to have spice with flavor balance, my dining partner added extra heat from their spice rack.
This restaurant has a nice neighborhood vibe, is on the smaller side, so it has a comfy intimate setting, and has nice decor. The service was good and the food was delivered rather quickly. My dining partner ordered the calamari appetizer here for the first time tonight and said it was tender, not overly oily, and was expertly prepared. Our yellow curry and massaman curry had great mouth feel and taste!
On our way out, the table next to us stopped us to discuss what we had and a nice conversation started. Great little neighborhood restaurant! Highly recommend!

Very casual place perfect for lunch with friends. I tried the Pineapple Curry lunch special and it was delicious with a large side of rice and pad thai. It was more than enough to have a small to-go portion to bring home. The menu provided lots of options that I look forward to trying out. They even have decent parking for an area where parking is usually limited.
