Forever, a broken heart since Tara is gone very supportive very good bartender always very dedicated, barely ever missed . Don’t think she was ever absent. She was the light of the party tell you the truth there was a lot of people there for her and supported The promotions she promoted every day that she worked for every day she could faithfull From my experience, she dealt with a lot and put up with a lot, but was willing to stick by there side promoted daily, I’ve seen her pull triple to doubles to train people for that bar and she did it tired ! Absolutely nothing like the website advertised! It’s a nice dive bar if that’s what you are looking for. Dark, depressing and smokey. Wife and I stopped in on “ladies night” and my wife was one of two female customers. Just a bunch of older gentleman drinking beer and smoking. Planned on eating but couldn’t stomach the smoke so I have no opinion on the food. Bar tender was very pleasant and my wife loved her margarita. Great place to shoot pool and have a drink.

I happened to stop in there holloween night. They were having a costume contest. $500 first place. However it quickly became apparent that it wasnt going to be based on who had the best costumes but rather based on who knew the most people and who knew the sole person judging the event.
I believe the individual in charge of the contest was an employee there. And the judging was based on the amount audience applause. And of course it was at the descretion of the person in charge and his hearing ability to determine who received the loudest applause.
There were some really good costumes at the event. You could tell that some of the contestents really put alot of effort and time into the design and making them.
But because it was the typical bar crowd and because the individual who was not only in charge of the judging but also acted as the MC. He was able to control the crowd response by how he introduced each contestent, even being derogatory towards some of the contestents.
One of the winners was an attractive female, that probably took her 15 or 20 minutes to put her zombie scooby doo outfit together. Definitly not the best costume by far. But what i was told is she also was a bartender at the place and because of this was very well known and popular with the crowd. So basically she could have been wearing a burlap sack and would have won a prize. Not because of the great costume, but because of her popularity with the crowd.
So between that and the connection with the person in charge of the judging. The outcome was pretty much determined before it even started.
I felt sorry for the individuals who had spent alot of time and effort putting there costumes together, because they didnt stand a chance.
I guess this is why in alot of events that involve prizes being awarded, employees are not allowed to participate. Because in this case, it definitely wasnt fair or impartial.

One of the best Cuban sandwiches around ! Bartenders are great, especially Celeste (I think is her name). She works Thursday, Friday & Sunday day shift.
Only thing that would make it better would be to let the bartenders to free pour, especially since it’s primo priced drinks & no deals for getting a double.
