Fish on Friday has not let me down yet. Fish is well cooked crispy perfection with a copious amount of crispy, golden fries. I need Extra slaw though cause it is DELICIOUS, and it’s all served hot (except the slaw) and fast with an ice cold brew in an environment that gently whispers, “Relax…” after a long week of teaching other people’s children. Thank you Walter’s.

Stopped in on a Saturday night and was surprised to find it wasn’t super busy so we grabbed some seats at the bar. It was a good 5+ minutes, however, before anyone acknowledged us or asked what we wanted to drink, despite the fact that one of the bartenders was standing right in front of us and looked straight at us when we sat down. Same thing when we tried to pay: the one bartender looked at us and our empty glasses then proceeded to pull out his phone, so we had to wait for someone else to help.

Spent 20 minutes trying to get the bartenders attention. Nothing. Felt like a “regulars” only kind of joint. Save yourself the trouble and skip it. Plenty of other great restaurants and bars in the area. Moved our party to a place down the street that was busier but managed to be pleasant and attentive. Don’t bother.

Embarrassed to say, I haven’t been here for approx. 30 years, back in the day when they sponsored our softball team. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Steak sandwich as good as I remember. Nice neighborhood bar with great food.
