Had a great mid afternoon snack/early dinner at Walkers on Saturday before the snow storm. Had a great time. Jack was our server. He was fantastic. Very friendly and took care of us with some perfect recommendation. Had the sloppy Joe roll appetizer ! Wonderful service, great food and cozy atmosphere. We sat in the bar area. Thank you for a great experience !

We came here after Walker’s came up on an internet search for food – a 40 minute drive. We ended up at he bar. Service was excellent and food came out quickly despite being very busy. We like the casual atmosphere. Food was an elevated version of what you would expect at a tavern. Generous portions of high quality ingredients. The wings were meaty and juicy, and the rootbeer BBQ sauce was good without being super sweet. The pumpkin soup was a welcome change from the typical autumn squash. The spinch salad was really tasty. The only criticism of our experience is that the parmesan wasn’t detectable on the duck fries, however they were perfectly crispy. Overall great meal and i highly recommended. Worth the drive.

If you don’t live in Glenwood, it’s a little bit off the beaten path but worth a taste. The food here is awesome. Definitely get the Sloppy Joe Eggrolls and any burger, heavenly indeed. Libations are served to your delight and the staff is super personable. Bring your heavy wallet as you will need some extra funds to eat here, but it’s worth it. Great place to bring a date or the wife for an adult getaway.

Delicious menu of unique sandwiches, pizzas, and starters. No wait at 11:30 on Saturday, but there was a 20ish min wait around 1:30 when we were leaving. Our server was very friendly. We were very happy with our food choices and devoured everything – make-your-own pizza, General Tso’s chicken sandwich (see Pic), and southwest chicken sandwich. We also got 5oz pours of different beers which were very yummy. I noticed at times the high volume in the restaurant between conversations and music, but I could hear my friends the whole time without issue. Highly recommend for date night, ladies lunch or other social gathering.

I recently took my kids to the restaurant, because my step-daughter works there, and I really wanted to try it. It did NOT disappoint. The pork belly appetizer is DEEEEEEE-LICIOUS!!! If you order the General Tso’s Chicken Sandwich, be prepared to wear it. It’s super yummy and very large and very messy. My son thoroughly enjoyed his pizza and my daughter destroyed her Walker Burger. I absolutely love that you can get any drink, INCLUDING ALCOHOLIC DRINKS to go. They gave us refills of our sodas to go, which was awesome. I can’t wait to go back and demolish those duck fat fries. We will definitely be back. I would have gotten a pic of the pork belly, but I was too busy shoving it into my face to think about pics. Oops.

The food at this place is just *SO*GOOD*. I don’t even like deviled eggs but I would eat their deviled egg app every day of the week. Everything we’ve ever gotten from them have been unique and delicious. They have an extensive drink menu with plenty of beers on tap, the atmosphere and decor is great, and the service is top notch – shout out to Sophie today!!

We visited for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, but what truly made the evening special was our server, Jack. He was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down, made thoughtful recommendations, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. He was attentive throughout the entire meal — refilling drinks without us even having to ask and making sure we had everything we needed.

Because of Jack’s outstanding service, we will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a great first impression!

Arrived at the open, great service and quickly seated. Love the atmosphere with gentle background of 90’s rock music. We ordered the walker burger which arrived cooked perfectly and bigger then expected. Fries looked and tasted great and the burgers were juicy and cooked as requested. Great place and we’ll be coming back.

Had the salmon and it is one of the best I have ever had. Others in my party had the pizza and loved it.

The staff at Walker’s is what makes the place special. Everyone — phone orders, front desk, wait staff, bar staff, and managers — is friendly and thoughtful every time we go. One time a small mistake was made and, without us even asking, they gave us a very generous credit. That tells you a lot about how they run the place. The number of regular customers there is a testament to the people who work there.

The setup is perfect too. There’s a dining area, high-tops, a bar, outdoor seating, and even a lawn area with beach-style lounge chairs where you can sit with friends and have a drink. It’s a great atmosphere no matter what kind of night you want.

I admit I’m a pizza snob, and Walker’s has the best pizza in the area. I love coal-fired, margherita-style pizza and theirs is spot on. The dough, the sauce, the cook — perfect. I can easily finish one myself. They have a lot of creative options and everything I’ve tried has been excellent.

One of my regular orders is the Spinach & Apple Salad (I swap feta for goat cheese). With chicken added it’s a full meal and easily worth the price. I sometimes save half for lunch the next day.

They also have great appetizers — the Nashville Hot deviled eggs, brick oven shrimp, crab soup, burgers, duck fat fries, and meatloaf are all standouts.

The draft list is huge, with lots of local options, flights, and multiple pour sizes. There are great cocktails, a solid wine selection, mocktails, and everything is reasonably priced.

Great people, great food, great atmosphere. Walker’s is exactly what a local restaurant should be, and the team there deserves a lot of credit.
