For the best lunch on Disney property, GO HERE!

Wow, such a flavorful and relaxing locale & big thank you to our server, Arianna who was absolutely perfect❤️
We’ll be back!!!

Starting off with the ahi tuna nachos was a great choice. Plenty of fish and the crispy wonton chips and combination of sauces with fresh green onion really set the tone

Sharing is caring, and our party of 3 had a bite of everyone’s plate, even our picky eater LOVED each dish. We had the Teriyaki Chicken Poke Bowl, Loco Moco, and the Chicken Sliders.

We shared the Dole Whip Sundae to cap off the meal and the tangy/tartness of the dole whip combined with fresh fruit + macerated pineapple and garnished with hibiscus merengue was truly magical!! So refreshing ❤️

Takeaways:
⭐️Teriyaki sauce on the chicken poke bowl is super flavorful with a great balance of fresh ingredients.
⭐️Loco Moco is an elevated experience of the traditional loco moco; that short rib was so tender and gravy is perfectly seasoned. And the crispy rice!?! Omg!
⭐️Chicken sliders with jicama slaw was a perfect combo, and sweet potato fries were done right!
⭐️Sharing is caring. Bring friends who will give you a bite of their meal, because you’ll want to order the whole menu.

I finally got to try this place located at the Disney Polynesian Resort in the new tower building.

They have inside and outside seating.
They also take reservations on the Disney app or website.

The menu is on the smaller side with some uniques choices. I went with the wayfinder burger, as everyone has suggested.

The burger has two beef patties on a sweet Hawaiian type bun. It has a bacon jam and something called volcano sauce. You can get both on the side. The volcanoes as you can imagine is spicy.

The macaroni salad was very good too.

The service was slow but she was very nice. They just get a little overwhelmed. It took 12 minutes just for someone to acknowledge me, and then another 4 to get my drink order.

Disney has really cut back on so much, service is one of them.

With that said, my server was awesome and after things started moving I had no issues.

I enjoyed the meal but next time I will request inside.

We ordered the wings, the shishito peppers, the ahi tuna poke and a burger. Everything was amazing except the burger which seemed seemed too sweet. The sweet Hawaiian roll on the burger is a little too much. Service is top notch! We ordered drinks, the mai tai was good but the Pandan gin mule that came with candied ginger was by far the best drink. Highly recommend. Head on over to the secret bar at Trader Sam’s Grotto for drinks after…so worth the wait!

The Disney tax really hits hard at this location. The food was decent, ribs and wings were the absolute hit but the chicken sliders were served on what appeared to be wonder bread rolls. Drinks were a little on the sweet side and took forever. Service couldn’t have been more scripted and fake. They were nice and attentive, but rushed us through our meal and had the same exact spiel and mannerisms for every table they were serving, including ours. Once I got the bill I was floored. Way overpriced even for Disney standards.

Great lunch with a lovely view. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Service was excellent. Poké bowl had lovely shavings of ginger and other hummus. I was unable to identify. My husband had the pork chop. It was cooked perfectly. Everything was very flavorful.

We’ve eaten at Wailulu a few times and always loved it. We’ve had great service ~ super friendly & always helpful. Of course the views are fabulous and the food is always delicious.

Here’s a bit of what we tried ~

✨Grilled teriyaki chicken poke bowl with pickled cucumbers, edamame & spicy poke sauce
✨Chow Mein Salad with teriyaki chicken, charred cabbage, pickled sweet potato, & sunflower butter dressing
✨Wayfinder Buger with onion jam, volcano sauce and a side of Mac salad
✨Grilled fish of the day ~ always served with green curry broth & jasmine rice
✨Musubi ~ glazed Spam, crispy rice pearls, furikaka, & sriracha honey
✨Chocolate cake with salted caramel ganache & coffee infused Chantilly cream (skip the dole whip and get this instead!)

❗️In the past month or so they started taking limited reservations, but you can still check out the waitlist to get in.

We visited February 2026 and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My wife got the Ahi Tuna Crisps (she’s not a heavy eater) and I got the volcano burger.

The burger was fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor! Honestly, best burger I’ve had on property, and I’ve had a number of burgers (in and out off parks).

The Ahi Tuna Crisps, the tuna was fresh and bright, crisps were light and crispy, and the variety of sauces made it a high level item.

A couple of words of advice- inside seating was reserved for reservations and it was 45 degrees outside so there were lots of folks huddled around a few heaters. If it’s the same in the summer, be sure make reservations if you want to beat the heat.

Second, it’s in the new DVC tower, which is as close to some areas of the Grand Floridian as the Polynesian.

Great first time experience! Had a lovely girls night and the service was spectacular. We got the musubi, shrimp, and chicken wings to start and all were fabulous. The Mai Tai was sweet and refreshing. The teriyaki sliders and sweet potatoes fries were amazing as well. Finished the night off with some MK fireworks and a delicious chocolate dessert. Will be back in the future!

A hidden treasure. Perfect for outdoor or indoor seating but with it being Florida outdoor seating in winter is a must. Portions were perfect. Food is great. The view is spectacular. After dinner grab a chair on the lawn and watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks. You could also walk from dinner over to the Park take the boat.
