The shaved ice here is delicious. I typically order and pay online to help alleviate the wait time at the actual shop, and that has worked well for my family. This time we ordered two keiki (small size) and one regular, and our whole order came out small size. When I went up to mention this to the store, they said, no that’s regular. It obviously was not. It was the same size as the other two orders, but I think being backed up in orders, they just wanted to keep things moving. That’s my only complaint. Everything was delicious, but I think paying for a larger size means you get the larger size… busy or not.

This is some of my favorite shave ice that’s not in Hawaii. The long line tells you that it’s worth it! The shave ice is smooth and there are no dry spots. They have an interesting selection of flavors and toppings to try. The staff is also super friendly.

A taste of home 2600 miles away! Nothing better to cool you down on a hot Portland day! The family had GuavaLava, Love Potion#9, and the classic Rainbow. The ice was so light and fluffy – dare I say JUST as good as Matsumoto’s I appreciate that their menu is short, less effort in making a decision. And although we only tried 3 of the maybe 7 flavors, I could tell by all the oohs and aaahs from the people around us that ALL the flavors are amazing! Tip: if you want to try something special…try the GuavaLava – that haupia foam is to die for! We will be back!

Was visiting Portland for a few days, it was soul melting hot out. Muggy. Sticky. This shaved ice was a treat from Heaven. So good!! Fresh juice/pure kinda deal, just just the syrup from a bottle stuff! Amazing!
