Great food and atmosphere! The service was meh. We were brought water, the waitress passed us several time and didn’t stop by to take our order for 35 minutes. Good took another 30 minutes but was super fresh and delicious!

A bright, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that seemed great for both a family and friends gathering or a slightly more intimate couples date. The drinks were made well, although I had the same drink twice and the first one tasted a little better than the second, like the ratio of the mixers was different but overall still good. We split the nachos and let me tell you, they were some of the best nachos we’ve ever had! We both left there with the intent and desire to return soon to try more of the menu. We’re looking forward to it!

I wanted to still love this place. The last time we were here it was so great. The service was good, the food was good and the atmosphere was great. This time we were so disappointed. My backyard burger came out. The fries were cold. The burger was room temperature. My boyfriend didn’t even get his food. They said there was a miscommunication. We waited an extra half hour to get his sandwich. They said they were waiting on his onion rings which he didn’t order. He had a club sandwich. The service really was poor. The phones were ringing and no one was answering them. There was a server on her cell phone texting at the bar. It wasn’t busy. It’s a Wednesday night at 530. Disappointed. Wanted to eat dinner together but they brought our food out separately and a half hour in between. We have been sitting here forever over an hour now. They did just give us $2 off so there’s that.

Amazing food! Truly the best nachos I’ve ever had. The cheese seems like a mixture of shredded cheese and cheese sauce. The perfect combo in my opinion. The chips have a seasoning with a lot of flavor but not spicy. We added beef which was plain ground beef but still full of flavor. Fish and chips were good. The fish batter was bread crumb/ panko breading. Not quite what I was looking for but still good.
The restaurant itself had a nice relaxing atmosphere. I’ll be back again for sure!

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL AWFUL NASTY!!! First time coming in for to go ordered nacho’s they literally had nothing on them like three pieces of chicken. The cheese was full of grease and oil and on the side when I tried to bring them in when they told you, the manager would be there she was not there, and the lady was rude to me as well if you’re looking for good food do not come here for people with bad Attitudes When I told her the nachos were unacceptable, she said well it happens!! So horrible! Oh and they were 22$$ for stale chips!!

Went to Backyard public house tonight for the last day of restaurant week. Had the deep fried brussels, the ham and pineapple grilled cheese with spicy tomato soup, I went out of my comfort zone with this one. I’m not one for spicy and the soup definitely was but the pineapple in the grilled cheese helped with it and all the components together was really good. Then had the fruit skewers with the yogurt honey sauce. The food was good, the service was great and the vibe was awesome. Definitely would go back.

Used to go here all the time but things have changed. About 2 years ago I had a bad experience where my dad, wife, and I went there. It was a Saturday night so they were busy and had a 30 minute + wait. It wasn’t a big deal but we were hungry so we told the host we were going to go to try somewhere else with less of a wait. The fella yelled at us about how we wouldn’t find anywhere better or with less of a wait as we walked out the door. It was very weird.
We stayed away for 2 years and then my wife and I thought we’d try again. It was a slow tuesday night with 2 other tables and no one at the bar, yet. We were sat down and then somewhat forgotten about. After about 15 to 20 minutes the bartender got our order. Another 15 to 20 minutes later, we got our drinks. Then a couple guys walked in who were friends with the bartender lady. We were completely forgotten about after that. I wanted another beer and waited and waited and waited for someone to come to our table. The manager was doing the schedule at the bar and the bartender was chatting away with her buddies. We must not have looked cool enough to check on or something. I don’t know but I never got a 2nd beer. Our food came out after about another 45 minutes and we ate it and left. I think you have to be part of the clique to go to this place or else they’ll treat you like the plague.

Pretzels were fantastic.
Fries, both sweet potato and traditional, were excellent. I did not know the standard fries were beer-battered and they were delightful.
The burgers were very disappointing, better on paper. The patties were the pre-packaged patty style in consistency and appearance, and did not taste like meat. Somehow the flavors were also off. The western pretty much just tasted like BBQ sauce even though there was also an onion ring, bacon, and cheese. I also did not care for the flavor of my partner’s burger.
We were glad to check this place out but likely will not return except for the pretzel which was judged to be “in the top 3 of pretzels ever eaten.”
Service was good. Environment was good.
