I have had pizza and subs from many different places. Having worked in food service for a good part of my life. Waid’s pizza and subs are by far one of the best. They recently started periodically making Stromboli. Unfortunately I have yet to try it but my wife raves about it. So if you are lucky enough to snag a Stomboli you are one of the fortunate ones. Keep up the good work!

Waids Pizzeria is one of those places that just gets it. Their meat pizza is hands-down my favorite—loaded, flavorful, and always hits the spot. Close second is the Italian sub, which never disappoints and is basically comfort food in sandwich form.
Bonus points forever because they never forget to leave off the green peppers for me. Their family cares about the customers, and the products it serves.
The curbside service is super helpful and makes pickup ridiculously easy, especially on those “I’m done peopling today” days.
And let’s be honest—the tiny-sized assistants are absolutely adorable and bring major wholesome-family vibes. Not to mention all of the positive support they show the community. Good food, good service, and a place that remembers the little details? That’s a win every time.

After living in the area for 7 years, we FINALLY tried Waid’s and LOVED it! The pizza is delicious and the people are friendly. I love that I don’t have to get out of the car. Lol We drive past our pizza place in town to make the drive to Tekonsha to get it! We’ll worth it!

Pizzas have a thinner crust that is crunchy on the edge, toppings cover the entire pizza generously, chicken wings are a decent size have a slight spice to them that make them delicious. We order them every time. Subs have a nice bread that allows flavor to soak in while being cooked but isn’t soggy. We can get 4 meals out of a whole sub. Service is prompt and pleasant.

From their commitment to continue serving our little community not only through the good times but through tornadoes and pandemics as well. The animal rescue that they support also shows how much hart they have!
