We have been going to Wah Mee for many years, they are consistently good. Love their egg drop, wonton and hot and sour soup. Shrimp fried rice is pretty good (jumbo shrimp) so is the pepper steak, shrimp egg foo young, really like the Sichuan green beans, had a dumpling addiction at one time and had to make myself kick the habit, lol. It’s a tiny carryout but we have gone back over and over.

Walked in for take-out Christmas day 2020, about 6pm. Ordered and had my food in about 10 min. Orange chicken was really good, the broccoli was colorful and still had snap to it. Egg drop soup was perfect thickness and flavorful, plenty of fresh egg in it. Fried dumplins were just right. Got two meals out of it. Only prob was the crack heads wandering around. Ill not ding ’em for that. Get it delivered. Support Local!!

This location has the best shrimp spring rolls in DC. The shrimp rolls are cooked with a light oil, have a slight crunch and shrimps are whole and fresh. The food here is not greasy. I’ve ate at the actual setting a few times before the pandemic and can say that the staff are very friendly and helpful!

Customer service here is horrible!!! The way they treat and talk to people is unacceptable and not appreciative of what otherwise was a loyal customer. They made an error with my food and while I was very mild mannered and respectful about pointing it out, instead of offering to just fix the problem which would have aligned with good customer service, the woman whom I spoke with on the phone hung up on me. When i arrived, she was yelling at me as if the order mistake was my fault, which it wasn’t. I will not be returning.
