Saturday 8pm waited like 5 minutes to get a table. They gave us menu while standing in the waiting area, which felt a bit odd imo. Food selection was great. Prices were reasonable for the location. We did like our food, but I would appreciate a little bit more taste in my gochujang pork belly ramen. It felt a little bland in my opinion. Wasn’t a fan of the corn as well. Would try a different ramen next time. You can order free green tea. Waiters were professional. Music was a little loud and did not match the environment. Toilets are upstairs. Would come back.

Wanted to eat next door but the hour long wait in the cold was too much. We are glad we went to wagamama, because we really needed veg. Really nice pad thai salad. Super fast service.

Wherever we go and come across a Wagamama restaurant we like to stop by. Although it is a chain you get a sense of personal approach even in such a busy place as St. Andrew’s Square. The food is honest and the drinks are prepared perfectly. Very nice space with a garden and seating upstairs with a view of the entire establishment.

Good service and incredible food. I ordered a build your own donburi and it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The bao nut was really good too. I ordered it in the ube (purple sweet potato) and cherry flavor, and it tasted really good especially with the strawberry and matcha iced latte (which was made with oat milk, so vegan friendly). Wide range of options for vegans like myself. Would strongly recommend.

wagamama’s food taste is good but i will say it’s not like the actual korean authentic tastebud. took chicken options but they gave same sauce for both of the different dishes…no change.

service was really good. you can pay in wagamama app from your phone and by logging in can get free prawn crackers.

Visited Wagamama years ago and it was amazing, wanted to come back this month while in Edinburgh for that reason but the experience was very different.. the food was still perfect but the service was ridiculous. First of all when waiting on a table when you get there, instead of waiting just inside the door, the manager tells you that you have to wait in this freezing cold patio on the entrance in. Eventually we got a table, and could tell that a load of tables were unhappy and sending food back.. our food eventually came but we were missing part of it.. and when we asked the girl who seemed like a manager she said it would be right out, kind of fobbed us off and rolled her eyes a bit too, and the 2nd part of the food still hadn’t come 10 minutes later when we finished our meal. It only came in the end thanks to the one lovely staff member we met, Craig. Who seemed to be the only one looking after customers. He got good feedback from tables also around us. Otherwise though, the service is really ridiculous. Also the way the managing lady spoke to the chefs was disrespectful and put a bad taste in our mouth. We could see lots of food being sent back and lots of mix ups. That’s still no excuse though to treat the chefs the way we saw them being treated. We didn’t like they at all. Honestly the experience was far from what it was before, the only good part, was the food was amazing (when it finally came) and Craig was very friendly, welcoming and the only one who was genuine enough to look after us, and others, it seemed! Thanks Craig

Fantastic place and food. Service is sometimes little slow which depends on the rush.

The staff recommended the kimchi dumplings, but they completely lacked any Korean flavor. I expected the dumplings to be served hot, but they arrived at room temperature.
Additionally, my friend and I each ordered Pad Thai, and the portion sizes were quite small.

Had a good time here for dinner.
Food was fusion style but tastefully done. Love the atmosphere and the vibes from the staff serving us both.
Wish I can come back again but will leave a good comments here instead since we are not from this country.
Highly recommended.

Well done all!
