Almost missed the place because they don’t really have a sign up. It’s a red and white building right next door to burger king. They used to be more up the road but moved due to lack of some equipment. Heard that they will be moving back to their original place on Monday and they will have more room for customers. The current building is small, seating about 50 people.

The name says it all!! It’s a nice place to eat breakfast, brunch or even lunch. This place has plenty of parking. Inside has spacious seating. Clean and friendly service. Great place to bring the whole family. They are open 6-2 Weekends are busier but not a bad wait. My husband & I had breakfast DELICIOUS. The waitress were helpful and friendly even when busy. The food was hot which I really appreciate!! Eggs done right. The only negative thing is my cheese on the hashbrowns was American slice cheese. I feel shredded cheddar is much better, but the potatoes weren’t terrible. We will definitely go back. If you haven’t tried the Waffle Shoppe I suggest you give it a try.

The food was amazing. So many combo options on the menu. So hard too chose. I wish we had one here in Texas. I will definitely be going there every time I’m in or around DeRidder. Service was some of the best I ever had.

We stopped here on the way home from a multi-state road trip. It is a simple diner-style restaurant serving waffles and breakfast. The stand-out was Inez, our wonderful, friendly server. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and took great care of us while we ate. We may never drive through DeRidder again but we will always have great memories of the Waffle Shoppe!

Our waitress was awesome – 5 stars for her. My 3 year old loved her and she was really sweet. The food was a little lacking this time. I just got eggs and hash browns, so that was fine. My son got a little mickey mouse pancake, which was cute. My husband, however, got a western omelette and it came out looking like a biscuit. Don’t ask me how that’s possible, I have no clue. I seriously thought it was a biscuit at first, I wasn’t sure what it was and he told me it was an omelette. He said it wasn’t good. Maybe just an off day for the cook. Coffee was decent.

Went here for breakfast. Service was good. The old ladies waiting tables and running food were nice and hospitable. The food was okay. Wasn’t a big fan of the hash browns. They were a bit grainy in texture. The eggs were okay. The sausages were delicious. I recommend ordering the sausages and eggs. Very nice place with great service and okay food. I would eat here again
