Tried this little waffle house in Ennis. Seems to be a little smaller than the ones I’ve been to, but maybe it’s just me. The service and the food was great. The staff there is like a well-oiled machine. Everyone knows what they are doing. They were quick with the food. This was a busy place. Lots of people eating and waiting to eat.

Staff is a machine, place was packed and it didn’t even take long to get our breakfast despite how busy it was. Very friendly staff, welcomed with a greeting from the moment we walked in and gave our order to a really nice lady who made sure we were well served. Been to a few Waffle Houses and this might be the best.

I ordered the steak meal but got it done well. I was afraid it would make me sick otherwise. It’s Waffle House… Food came and the steak didn’t look and taste fresh. The texture of the steak was rubbery. I ate it anyway, because that was the only place that was open late and I was super hungry. I came back to the hotel and my stomach didn’t settle well. I should just have gotten the eggs and hash-browns, be hard to screw that up…
