Forever missing Waffle House. As a European this restaurant chain is unbeatable. 24/7 waffles, great coffee and variety to choose from.

So first I want to say this review is towards the service received by the employee who waited on us, because the cook (Chester? I believe) is absolutely fantastic and has saved many of complaints I’m sure!
Now coming from a veteran of the service industry for more than 15 years, the late night servers NEED retrained on customer service!
I can’t tell you the persons name as it was not given, nothing was given to the table before the food and milk was delivered first, when 2 coffees, creamers and ice was ordered as well!
And the creamer was NEVER delivered at all!
Coffees delivered after meals (which one was remade and still given before the coffee!) no refills, 2 approaches to the table to take the order and delivered the meals and milk and the. Not seen again. How do you expect to make any money?
If it wasn’t for your cook Chester who fantasticly made the best of everything and remade the hardly warmed chill to make it how it should of been when brought out the first time around I would not have even stayed in the restaurant!
Thank you Chester for taking pride in the industry and doing your job with a passion that’s not seen anymore, you are the reason we will be back to this business and you alone!

The husband and I made the mistake of going to the Liberty location before this one. This location was wonderful. The staff wasn’t being dramatic and pissed off. The service was awesome. The food was hot and delicious and the kitchen actually communicated with the staff. It was peaceful atmosphere in there. The husband and I were so happy when we left. I hope it’s stays that way.

Came in during peak breakfast hours with a party of 5, including a few boomers who can’t help but make the servers jobs needlessly more complicated – yet our waitress was great the food was cooked perfectly, came out very quickly and still steaming hot. Nobody’s coffee cup ever reached Empty, this crew was just *on it*. They all appeared to be very young but the service was stellar, if you like waffle house make an effort to give this particular location your business, it was a fantastic experience and if you’re from corporate give these youngbloods an appreciative payraise.

I ordered the 2 eggs breakfast with water and it was only 7.00 which is pretty cheap. They were really fast with my order. I only gave it 4 stars because I didn’t really like the grits. It is a newly remodeled location.
The parking lot also has a dip when exiting so if your car sits low be advised.

I love this place. I dont give 5 stars lightly. For being a big chain this place feels small, like a true diner should feel. The food is good home like food, filling and low cost. We stop here every time we visit KC.

Our waitress was fantastic, all staff was great however there was an African American lady with neck tattoos that decided to cuss and scream about her lack of hours and only getting 10 hrs and having several children. Well honestly I can see why they don’t want you working many hours….shouting while customers were there. All other employees were continuing to work. Continued cussing while ringing up another customer making it extremely awkward. I hope management sees this, I don’t expect a lot at Waffle House at 9pm on a Saturday night but certainly didn’t expect that!

In the grand arena of restaurants, Waffle House would be in the lower end of the spectrum, however the it shouldn’t be written off. The food at this location is better than most of the breakfast places that we have visited.
BTW, this was a first time visit for us. We are from the West coast and the Waffle House doesn’t have a presence there.
The hash brown bowls were tasty, grease free and well prepared. I had gravy added and was pleasantly surprised.
Our server was friendly and enthusiastic. I really enjoyed her attitude. She kept our drinks topped up and checked on us often.
The decor was, shall we say, historical.
