I dont like to leave negative reviews as I am a small business owner, but serving burnt bacon/hamburger &even the hashbrowns mildly burnt I payed 14 + tip 5 to the server for Burnt Food smh the cook needs to be evaluated immediately this is unacceptable! I was at Waffle House south cannon Kannapolis on 2 separate occasions 1st time I’m on line for 20 minutes with 1 year old in arms and I get to the register and the girl says “Sorry sir we aren’t taking anymore to go orders.” She handed people togo orders as she’s telling me this. I call corporate speak to division manager ashley Davis I believe he apologizes tells me he will send a gift card. It never comes in the mail . I go back the day after Christmas and again standing in line for about 20 minutes baby in arms. I’m standing at the register. They are fully staffed it’s not incredibly busy. Employees are looking at me no one ever says anything. I look at them they look at me and keep walking. 2 guys behind me sit at the bar as a girl cleans it off and she says would u like to place a Togo order? I’m thinking are u serious? Mind you I always tip about 5 or 6 dollars when I place a Togo order so if they are thinking they wouldn’t get a tip from me they are wrong. I call Ashley Davis division manager once again I let him know what happened this time. I also informed him I never received my first gift card. He says oh I told corporate to send it out. Low and behold I never received anything and honestly that’s not why I complained. I just wanted to order my food get it tip and go home and eat it. I see upper management is just as bad as lower level at this point and I will not return. I want nothing from them but for them to learn that you don’t treat paying tipping customers like this and you don’t tell someone that u will do something and don’t do it. I’m a nurse supervisor and this type of behavior is unacceptable when dealing with the public. I also have 10 years restaurant exp so I know what excellent service is.
