My brother loved his honeymoon in New Orleans so I figured this was the next best thing. I started with the Jambalaya and the Cajun Bama Wings. Both had a nice flavor and texture. I am a big fan of the Alabama White Sauce. My entrée was the Combination Voodoo Pasta. The flavors were good but I should have gotten it spicier. It was too bland. The menu did mention you can add spice to it so I didn’t deduct that from the score. Dessert was beignets. A sweet end to a hearty lunch.

My dad and I decided to stop here for lunch while he was up in Virginia.
We ordered boudin balls as an appetizer and man did they hit. Very crisp exterior with a soft, fluffy interior of rice, sausage, and the good ol’ holy trinity. The mustard and remoulade served with them paired excellently and I had to hold back from stealing one from my dad and instead split it with him. Remembered civility luckily. I simply wish there were more of them per serving because there were only three and oh so delicious.
We also both ordered a muffuletta each and replaced fries with red beans and rice. That sesame bread that was used for the muffuletta was insanely delicious and I forgot to ask if it was made in house or was from another bakery because if I were to make my own I want that bread. A perfect toast to it. The olive salad on it was pleasantly mild, I went in expecting a much more aggressive flavor but instead it complimented the deli meats incredibly well.
Finally that red beans and rice had to have been some of my all time favorite that I’ve had. We added a little Crystal hot sauce to them and it added the perfect little zing to them. If I could I would’ve ordered another entire bowl of them to go. They were so enticing upon being set in front of me that I couldn’t help but take a bite before remembering to take photos.
Our waitress was incredibly friendly and very kind. My dad couldn’t stop talking about how impressed he was with her.

Stopped in for brunch/lunch. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich. It was SO good. The fries with the Cajun seasoning are amazing. The chicory coffee is good too. I did not catch our writer’s name (our receipt says Lewis C) but he had a very welcoming vibe and was great. He and the bartender were the only ones working at the time so they seemed to be shortstaffed on this busy Saturday. I would eat here again.

A colleague had recommended Voodoo Brothers. The toasted pecan old fashion was highly praised, but it was little to be desired. The bartender offered to make another old fashion of my choice, and it was much better.The bartenders were friendly and the server had a good vibe, but the service was slow. We waited for our food for over 45 minutes. The crabmeat hush puppies had little crab. The shrimp and grits needed to be reworked. The canjun shrimp pasta was good, though. The beignets were over fried and not flavorful. I won’t miss it..

My wife and I are so happy we dropped by.
The food was amazing, from apps to dessert.
The pork belly was to die for, perfectly moist yet crispy, with deep flavors in every bite.
The staff was great, and our server, Lewis, was purely good vibes. His presence made the food taste even better.
Did I mention the cocktails? Their mixologist must be a mad scientist because they’re amazing, nuanced, creative, and will leave you feeling deliciously buzzed.

Tonight my friends and I tried this place. My husband and I were definitely looking forward to it after spending 6 years in LA. The food over all was great- some items were a little over coated with spices. The alcohol beverages were awesome. Atmosphere was great- but I wish zydeco music was playing throughout restaurant vs 60’s Motown.
I was very disappointed that earlier in the day I have called and made a reservation for 6 at 6- however, when myself and my party arrived, there was no table reserved and no one had any recollection on reservation. As I was told -“ I didn’t take the call, neither did I and I’ve been here all day”. So we waited 30 mins to be seated and another 30 mins to get our alcohol beverage.
Now to the impressive part:
Luis- the waiter- the only one there- was awesome! He was moving taking orders, bring out drinks, busting tables! He was moving tables around to get the next customers in to sit down. He was hustling and the owner needs to recognize that.
His attitude was great, even though you could tell he was tired and sweating. I mean the guy had me tired from watching him!! He made the visit enjoyable!! His laughter was contagious!!
We will try again, but… maybe during lunch time!

Cajun food. To be fair, that’s not my vibe, so I had a Voodoo Burger, which was quite good. I had a Pecan Old Fashioned which was fantastic. It’s a little tight for seating, but it is Old Town Manassas.

Saw a post online raving about this place so I decided to stop in and grab some items to go. I ordered Gumbo, Cajun Wings, and Crab Hush Puppies. First, the wings were hard inside and out like they’d been fried multiple times. Couldn’t get past the first bite. Moved on to the hush puppies and they were terrible. Came sure some kind of sauce that doesn’t compliment the hush puppies in any way. They would’ve been better off pairing them with ranch or something. Didn’t finish the first ball. Now, the Gumbo is edible but just lacked meat and a little flavor. Many veggies and especially heavy on the okra. Not what I was expecting at all.

Ordered shrimp po’ boy which tasted good, alligator bites which were small fried bits. I was expecting something a bit larger. Collard greens were delicious but were made with bacon so keep that in mind.

Lewis was our server. He was nice, attentive and social. He did forget to put in one of our orders. We were given cornbread which we didn’t order but we thought it may have been something free for every table but it was charged on our bill. Lewis said he would give us a free drink to make up for the order which he forgot. Service needed some work.

Place is nicely decorated and the layout was nice.

The crawfish etouffee was fantastic, spot on authentic flavors. The spicy voodoo pasta needed more spice and a side of sourdough toast for the extra sauce. The chicken and sausage gumbo was forgettable. The beignets were very disappointing, small and greasy. The bar staff was very nice and took great care of us.
