On our first visit, when we drove up at 1:00 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon to find the large parking lot almost full, I thought this must be a really good restaurant. Indeed, Vito’s was not hosting a wedding reception, but was filled with happy regulars enjoying lunch. I ordered manicotti, and for a starter their minestrone soup. For some years, my favorite minestrone soup has been that served at Joey’s at Carrier Circle. However, filled with properly cooked vegetables and a tasty broth this is just as good. The sausage that accompanied my manicotti was meaty and mild in flavor. It was delicious when eaten with the extra marinara sauce I requested. The manicotti was good, but I probably won’t order it again. My wife hit the jackpot by ordering pasta pie. Instead of a firm cheese holding together the angel hair pasta, this version uses Alfredo sauce, giving it a looser texture and delicious flavor. The slice had a mushroom crust covered with marinara sauce. It was outstanding and she kindly shared it with me. For dessert, we shared spumoni ice cream with chocolate, cherry, and pistachio flavors and tasty whipped cream. A truly excellent meal. UPDATE-1: On our second visit, I ordered the shrimp riggies. The large shrimp were perfectly cooked and went well with the vodka sauce, rigatoni, and cherry peppers. The sliced peppers did require some trimming, because the kitchen had not removed the stems. My wife ordered a delicious combination of Char-Grilled chicken with peppers and mushrooms. It included a side of angel hair pasta with marinara sauce. For dessert, we shared the spumoni tartufo. A truly delicious way to end a great meal. UPDATE-2: On our 5th visit, the kitchen was not up to their normal level of excellence. My wife ordered the char-grilled chicken with peppers and mushrooms and a side of pasta. The dish arrived at room temperature. I ordered chicken francaise which was hot, but lacked flavor and seasoning. With lemon wedges kindly provided by our server, I squeezed juice over and sprinkled salt onto the dish and it turned out pretty well. One thing we learned on this trip was that the delicious sauce that comes with a side of meatballs is tomato sauce. We preferred it to the chunky marinara that was on our sides of pasta and will request it in the future. UPDATE-3: Tried sacchetti pasta in a vodka sauce with a side of sausage for the first time. It was excellent. UPDATE-4: Tried out a new dish from the lunch menu, farfalle boscaiola, and it was outstanding. UPDATE-5: Enjoyed the sausage Riggies. UPDATE-6: We met friends here to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. Previously, I had enjoyed three different versions of the restaurant’s Riggies, with chicken, shrimp, and then sausage. On this evening they were also offering Riggies with lobster. I ordered it with vodka sauce and medium heat (from cherry peppers) and it was absolutely outstanding. They were very generous with the lobster. If you find it on the menu, I recommend you try it (although, as you might expect, it cost more than the other versions of Riggies). Other items ordered for the table included pork osso buco and veal involtini which were also enjoyed. UPDATE-7: Ordered riggies again, but I made some changes. Instead of medium heat I ordered high heat and instead of vodka sauce I ordered red sauce. The dish was terrific. However, in the future I think my preferred protein in the dish is not sausage, but rather chicken or shrimp, and when they offer it, lobster.

Pretty average food, nothing to write home about. Went for lunch and the waitress messed up my order of just Spaghetti and Meatballs and gave me a sausage instead.
When I got the food, it was flavorless, very liquid sauce and meatball (once they gave it to me) had a really strange flavor. Even the pasta fagioli had no taste and was very watery, which was off-putting.
My server looked like she was managing way too many tables, never refilled my water the entire hour I was there, and seemed annoyed I was a table of one in the back. Everything took a lot longer than expected to come out as well, definitely need a full hour or more for lunch.
One extra star because the atmosphere was nice, people seemed happy to eat there at least, and the person who sat me was a joy.

Loved our experience here! The specialty rigatoni was a standout, and the filet mignon was incredibly tender. The service was friendly and attentive, and the pricing felt fair overall. Definitely worth a visit.

We were greeted nicely for lunch, seated, given menus and drink orders taken. I love that bread was brought to the table along with infused oil and butter. We got one side with our entrees so two had chicken and pastina soup, I had a beautiful salad with house balsamic vinaigrette. All excellent. Two orders of pasta pie with meatballs and one order of Sacchiatti, little pasta pockets with cheese inside. Everything was hot and fresh. Very decent sized portions
Cheesecake, eclairs and cannoli finished our wonderful meal.

Vito’s: A Solid Italian Option with Room for Improvement
Vito’s offers a pleasant dining experience for those craving Italian-style food. The atmosphere is nice, contributing to an enjoyable evening out. However, be prepared for prices that lean towards the higher end compared to other local establishments.
Our service on this visit was average. While not exceptional, it got the job done. We did encounter a minor hiccup when two of our dishes were switched upon being served, which we corrected ourselves.
Where Vito’s truly shined were the meatballs and sauce, which I’d confidently rate a perfect 5. They were a definite highlight of the meal. Our main dishes were slightly above average, good but didn’t quite reach the same high standard as the appetizers.
Despite a few minor issues, I plan on returning to Vito’s. Given its popularity, I’m hopeful that there are other dishes on the menu that live up to the deliciousness of their meatballs and sauce.

We recently dined out for a celebration dinner. No problem getting a reservation, the friendly hostess greeted us upon arrival and promptly seated us. Our server was friendly and attentive to our needs and requests. Good timing on appetizers and beverages. Some really nice touches worth mentioning (that many area restaurants have cut back on) are:
Bread was placed on the table immediately, and not a stingy little mini loaf of bread either! Fresh, nice size slices of delicious Italian bread. We were a party of six and our Server put two baskets on the table accompanied by individually foil wrapped ,generous portions of real butter, chilled to the correct temperature.
Also worth noting, large glass tumblers refilled as needed, tables were comfortably sized with plenty of elbow room and set nicely with white linens and rolled linen silverware. Appetizers were good portions for our party and served in a timely manner.
The menu was extensive; many choices and something for everyone. Also worth noting was that a delicious soup or fresh salad was offered with each entrée, with the option of including coffee and dessert and a side included in the price of dinner.
Meals were hot and delicious, fresh authentic recipes with very generous portions.
The atmosphere was just right; upscale-casual, friendly, festive and lively, but not overcrowded or too loud.
Pricing was just right, making Vito’s an affordable option for any occasion.

My girlfriends and I had a delicious lunch here. I had never been, so I was excited to try it. We got there at one and it was packed with pre holiday celebration. We did not have a reservation, but we’re seated within five minutes. The wait staff was excellent. We all had a glass of wine and was brought bread and dipping garlic oil. My friends had baked Haddock that came with sauted escarole, spaghetti pie; a glorious dish of spaghetti, Alfredo sauce, and topped with Marinara. This came with a meatball or sausage. I had eggplant parm and th side was escarole. Very good and the portions very generous. A really nice luncheon.

Just had some of the worst food ever. Had live bugs in our salad. The lasagna was served cold and tasted a week old. Chicken riggis were cold had a very odd task! Service was slow and was poor. Atmosphere was terrible. Seems the owner can’t decide if he wants to be a sports bar or restaurant – and clearly has failed at both. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Big portions and accommodating. Would have liked there to be more flavor in the food and service was pretty good for the couple of staff that looked pretty miserable to be there. Lots of room for bigger parties.
