Our first time and definitely will not be our last! We had an early reservation – 4:45pm – and the place was buzzing! It is small, cozy and inviting and even though it was busy the entire time we were there, we never had any trouble with conversation. The service was impeccable with a number of the team making visits, including the owner, who seems like a lovely man. The wine list is outstanding with many great selections from around the world. We had a four different menu selections and they all were delicious with our favorite being the burrata! Finally, for dessert we had the tiramisu, we agreed was the best we have ever had. The Carajillo cocktail with the tiramisu was perfect. RUN DO NOT WALK to Vita’s Place (and make a reservation!)

My husband and I made an after-dinner stop at Vita’s Place for a nightcap before heading home. We did have reservations and we did not order any food here.
It’s such a quaint wine bar with a generous selection of specialty cocktails and mocktails. It was a beautiful evening, and we were able to sit outside on their patio. Our server was an absolute delight — a sweet young woman who greeted us with a complimentary champagne toast to celebrate our anniversary. Such a thoughtful and memorable touch! We will return!

1/6/26 update: still amazing, and Tuesday is an amazing wine discount day!
What a lovely place to enjoy a bottle of wine and some snacks! Our server was so kind and helped us select a beautiful bottle of rose (bonus for suggesting a woman wine maker). We tried all of the composed toasts which were all delicious, made on Blackhole Bakery bread!
We also had the basque cheesecake and lemon tart. Comfortable and friendly neighborhood spot. It’s small so be sure to make a reservation!

Vita’s Place truly is the place to be. Every visit feels personal—the staff treats you with such care, and you can tell they value every guest who walks in. The space is cozy in the best way, the kind of spot where you instantly feel connected to the people around you. It’s the kind of neighborhood wine bar that immediately feels like a favorite, with a beautifully curated selection that never disappoints. And I can never leave without ordering the burrata with focaccia—it’s a must.

Food was delicious, my fiance loved his Boulevardier. The service was a little slow but very pleasant. We wish the food runners told us which dish was which when they delivered it. We would love to come back.

Gorgeous interior, fantastic wine list and perfect small bites.
It’s a great place to sample all kinds of wine on your way to or from dinner or as a destination by itself.
Wonderful neighborhood bar and a must do if you enjoy wine.
…and check out this photo of the amazing gin selection! Lots for everyone.

The Peach Risotto Cake and the Basque Cheesecake were absolutely exquisite—culinary masterpieces in their own right. Ryan, Vita’s grandson, provided exceptional service and truly elevated the experience.
The desserts were so divine, they transported me to that unforgettable moment in SpongeBob SquarePants when the character first tasted a jellyfish sandwich—pure bliss and awe in every bite.

A charming, intimate wine bar that feels like a neighborhood gem. The staff is incredibly accommodating + welcoming, and the wine list is extensive (cocktails are great too!). Recommend a reservation as it is busy daily.

Wow. Just wow. I hesitate to even post this review because the space is cozy and I don’t wanna blow up the spot… but truly some of the best food, wine, and vibes I’ve had in KC. Will def be back.

Vita’s Place is hands down one of the best spots in KC. Ryan and his staff go above and beyond to make every visit a great experience. The atmosphere is warm, the service is exceptional, and the wine selection is easily the best in the city. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.
