My husband and I have been loyal customers of Vita Bella for years, but I was very disappointed with my most recent order. The pizza we received was undercooked and the dough was still white when we received it. It was very cold too. I attached photos show how poorly it was prepared compared to the pizza we got back in March.
On Sunday, when I called about the issue, the front desk told me that their manager was unavailable. She said she texted him and said that he told her that there was nothing they could do about the undercooked pizza and to contact Uber Eats for a refund. Unfortunately, I never received one from Uber Eats, they said to just contact Vita Bella since they were the ones that prepared the undercooked food.
And so I did. On Monday I spoke with the assistant manager Debbie, she was very kind, understanding and compassionate, but the situation was not resolved and out of her grasp. She said when this happens typically make a new pizza to their customers. All I wanted was a new pizza and we were willing to send the undercooked pizza back. I don’t want a refund, I just want my food I’m used to. I told this to Debbie and the front desk worker. I understand they are not in control of these decisions. Debbie was also so kind and made us feel very welcome to stop back into Vita bella and she would be there. Please promote her.
It’s been since Sunday and no resolution. It’s very frustrating to experience this level of service after years of being a loyal customer. I truly hope Vita Bella can address this issue so that others don’t have the same disappointing experience. We love your food! I hate leaving this review but am unsure how else to address my point. Can someone please make this right? I would hate to issue a chargeback with my CC company. Mistakes happen, we don’t want a refund, just a new pizza. I don’t know why the manager won’t just acknowledge that we want a new pizza for the undercooked one we received.
I want to add that I sent an email and never received a reply.
The email was sent on August 27th to both locations.

Vita Bella has been and always will be one of our top locations. The pizza always stands out against the competition, all the other food quality and taste never disappoint. The italian beef on garlic bread, I would put even a notch better than Rosatis and Giordanos.
Price point is right in line with everyone else. I wish there was one closer to my town. But anytime I get a chance, it’s vita bella’s hands down.

Always hits the spot, never fails in quality of taste ingredients, temperature. Moving Down south from the city it was hard to find a pizza that I loved. When I came across them it was perfect. from their thin crust, double dough, stuffed, pan, all of the above are great. Their pastas are also amazing do try those! Too many people never take their time to leave good reviews it’s always run to leave bad experience. Overall all in the year plus going there it’s never been a disappointment. A++++

Let me start by saying this is not a review about the food. I placed an order at 2:30pm and pre ordered 2 pizzas for 6:30pm pick up for the Bears game. I go to pick up the pizzas and I’m told it will be a couple minutes, which I understand because of the Bears game going on at 7:00pm. I began to realize many people there were really upset and canceling orders. 15 minutes later they call my name for my first order and when I ask about the 2nd order I’m told “they are putting the pizza in the oven now and it will be another 30 minutes.” My jaw hit the floor. The young girl working there never said sorry or properly explained why an order placed at 2:30pm wasn’t ready. I told her to cancel both of my orders and she then says “but this pizza is ready now.” Are you joking me? You want me to sit with this pizza for over 30 minutes and drive home so then it’s ice cold? I couldn’t believe the lack of customer service. She ended up refunding me and I left. This place is a joke. It makes no sense to preorder 4 hours a head of time if this happens. I’ll spend my money at other places in the area.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the staff working on the day/night of the superbowl! To say they were busy was an understatement! They had what looked like 100’s of tickets lined up, phone ringing nonstop, people getting angry at them because their pizza was a few minute late and with all of that going on the staff handled it all with professionalism and grace. Our meal was delicious as always but I really wanted the staff to know that they are ALL rockstars!!!

I completely understand when restaurants are busy it takes longer to order. However this is the second time this has happened we ordered delivery and when I placed the order the girl on the phone said they would deliver within the hour. I even asked her are you sure because it was a busy day with all the football games going on. She said yes within in the hour. We waited 2 1/2 hours for our pizza to get delivered. The quality of the pizza is amazing we love vitabella best pizza around for sure. I just don’t understand why they always say within the hour when they clearly knew it wasn’t going to be. Very unhappy about that and I wish the person who took my order was just honest and said we are very busy so it’s going to be a long time. I wouldn’t be mad if they just said the truth.

On Superbowl Sunday, Vita Bella South was stuffed with patrons. Despite that, the staff worked like clockwork and orders were completed in an understandably timely manner.
