It’s in the back lot of Rochester House.
It is dead in here by 6pm. Oh my.
It’s cold in the dining area, not a big dining area. Nicely decorated, looks newer.
Ordered dosa, samosa, Gobi Manchurian, chick pea salad, dal tadka and dal makhani, butter chicken, navratina korma, and Chana masala. $117.56
The Samosa, butter chicken and chick pea salad are all good.
The samosa is maybe a bit too heavy and doughy. The potato and peas are mashed inside. The cilantro chutney is good, spicy too.
Butter chicken is tasty.
The chick pea salad is just fresh and yummy.
Dosa was okay, not loving the tomato or coconut chutneys so much. Sambar soup is good.
The dal makhani and Chana was not for either of us. Makhani is super buttery and runny. The Chana has a very unexpected taste and look, the sauce it’s cooked in is quite brown here.
The dal tadka, korma and Gobi were just okay.
Both lentils are super runny.
The korma isn’t too bad. Their version has tofu in it. Sauce is good. Not a lot of veggies to it.
Gobi was crispy, but their chili sauce is not so good.
My husband usually favors the Chana masala, but he wasn’t fond of their version so much. Would skip the Chana, Gobi and the dal makhani and maybe even the dal tadka next time.
Service here is good.
Definitely recommended
The decor is beautiful and creates a very welcoming and pleasant dining environment. We are so thrilled to have found this gem and will definitely be back again soon. If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Indian food, you have to give this place a try! Highly recommended.
The food was amazing—full of bold, authentic flavors without being too heavy or overpowering. Every bite was satisfying, and you could tell a lot of care went into making it taste just right.
The service was quick and attentive, with the staff checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The owner greeted us with a warm smile, which made the experience feel even more special. For anyone looking for a peaceful spot with great Indian food, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!
The food was nothing short of delicious—every guest raved about the flavors, freshness, and authentic taste. Whether it was the appetizers or the main course, each dish was prepared with care and packed with flavor.
The setup was equally impressive—beautifully arranged, elegant, and perfectly aligned with the theme of our celebration. The team was punctual, organized, and incredibly courteous throughout the event.
A big thank you to the Virasat team for making our celebration truly memorable. Highly recommend them for any occasion where you want great food and seamless service!
The first thing that caught my eye was the pleasant ambiance. They have a huge menu, which made it a bit tricky to decide what to order since there were so many options.
It took a while to get a waiter, as there was only one guy taking care of all the tables that were occupied.
The starters arrived in about 10 minutes, but the main course took a while, around 20 minutes.
Overall, the food was good, but they could definitely improve the presentation. None of the food looked particularly appealing.
Here’s my rating for each dish:
Palak Chaat – 5/5 (Highly recommend)
Majestic Paneer – 1/5 (Bland paneer in a yellow gravy, needs more spices and flavor)
Dal Makhni – 3/5 (The makkhan was missing , it was just like a regular dal)
Malai Kofta – 3/5
Mughlai Paneer – 3/5
Bullet Naan – 5/5 (If you’re a fan of green chillies, don’t hesitate to order this)
Garlic Naan – 4/5
Stuffed Paneer Naan – 5/5 (Highly recommend)
