My wife and I had a date night here yesterday. Overall we give it a 7/10.
We had the following dishes:
Gorgonzola cheese salad
Spicy rigatoni
Tomahawk rib steak
Crispy onion strings
Parmesan truffle fries
Cream spinach
First, I will say that the service was excellent. We appreciated our waiter, very kind and hospitable.
The salad was good, but used lettuce that looked like it was random scraps of leftover lettuce put together.
The spicy rigatoni’s sauce was good, but the pasta was very underwhelming. It didn’t taste fresh, as if it was sitting in the kitchen for a while.
Salad presentation and serving fresh pasta are two very basics things any restaurant should be able to do.
However, we were satisfied with the rest of the food!

Went to celebrate my partner on his new job position and we had a marvelous time! We both for the steak for two and got the Porterhouse as well as the Gorgonzola Salad and the Clams Casino as well as the Lobster Mac & Cheese. Fabulous service and incredible food! Would 100% come back! Also love how it’s much more of an intimate establishment.

The owner Victoria was absolutely lovely and Ashley the bartender was adorable. The food was absolutely delicious everything we ate was so good. I loved the decor too . It to me was a very warm atmosphere unlike some steakhouses they can be a little colder feeling.

Such a hidden gem out in Saint James. This is seriously one of the best steak houses that I have ever been to. The food is always of outstanding quality as is the service. We enjoyed the spicy rigatoni and burrata which was a great appetizer (not pictured because we ate it that fast) as well as splitting the chopped wedge salad. For entrees we had perfectly cooked steaks: the cowboy ribeye and filet mignon. So flavorful! As sides we had a loaded stuffed baked potato and lobster mac and cheese and a which were also excellent. We finished with a complementary cheesecake for our anniversary and also killed it so quickly hence why it is not pictured. The service is great with attentiveness as well as professionalism and excellent recommendations. All in all, it is one of my favorite steak houses on the island. I’ll always come back there.

We had a really nice dinner here. I had the sesame tuna and my husband the tomahawk. We had 3 courses with sides and all were good. The service was at a good pace and the staff friendly. It was not loud and there was decent spacing between tables. Will definitely return.

First time eating at Vintage, the service and food was a strong 5 stars. My wife and I agreed the filet mignon was the best we’ve had. For appetizers the clams casino and spicy rigatoni were delicious.
Shout out to our waiter Mardean for his excellent service and pleasant attitude.
They didn’t charge us for dessert for my wife’s birthday.
The atmosphere is elegant and cozy. A truly classy establishment. Highly recommend for a date night.

Our first time dining here, At The Vintage Steak house. The Atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting . The Facilities were clean , and presentable. I especially liked having the choice of still using paper towels as oppose to just the air hand dryers . I wont go into detail as to why lol . The staff seemed to be just as warm and inviting as well. Our orders looked and tasted like they were freshly made. There were four of us dining , we all ordered something different Which gave me the chance to taste test four of their dishes on the menu. The presentations for all dishes were Inviting. Nice clean flavors , nothing overly done as far as spices go. My meal was a beautiful steak dinner , the cowboy ribeye to be exact, with string onion fries. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. They were not bad. However I have had better. We ordered two desserts, apple pie cobbler with vanilla ice cream and a plain cheesecake. The cheesecake was OK I have had better however, the Apple pie cobbler was pleasantly different. I would definitely order it if you choose to have a dessert. Last but not least ,
why only 4 stars When everything seems to be in place ? There are many wonderful food establishment’s out there that cover all those important basis we all look for when we go out and dine , however they do not carry the high price point.
I have been to establishments that were also good in every category where I expected I was going to have a high bill only to find that when that bill came we were shocked at how low it was. Even asking was there a mistake made? I knew this establishment was going to be expensive. I went to see why? You most definitely will enjoy your dinner and visit here at The Vintage Steak house no doubt. However, my self as well as the three other guests I was with thought the same , Pricy .

Let me put it this way: it’s worth the price of admission. Sure, no valet parking like Pace’s, but it makes up for it in other ways. The steak was some of the best you’ll have anywhere in that area of LI, as was the lobster mac-n-cheese. The cocktails were very good too. We sat outside, which was nice and not something that they offer at Pace’s, so there’s that. The service was good, so no complaints there. I have a hard time deciding if this place is better than Pace’s. You’ll have to decide for yourself!
