OH MY GOD! Where has this place been all my life? We stopped in here after seeing a post in the Ulster County Foodies page one weekend and it was nothing short of spectacular! Not only was Jeanine super pleasant, patient and kind, she made the best sandwiches! Also offering tastings and samples of cheeses and provisions. We had the best sandwiches prepared on freshly baked bread. They have an extensive menu but we made our own custom sandwiches. The balsamic glaze is house made and incredible!! They also have a hot food spread and some amazing options to make unique sandwiches. Highly highly recommend if you’re looking for stellar sandwiches!

I placed a pick up order online. I came into the store to pick it up. the woman working there was very rude, claimed they don’t participate with the third-party company on whose website they are listed, and said the only thing she could do is charge me twice for one sandwich. I would have even considered doing that since their sandwiches are good, but the level of her rudeness, and snark was so off putting I just canceled the order and left. The store was completely empty at lunchtime so they should work on their attitude. Will not be returning.

So went here on a Saturday afternoon. I kept seeing people post about the awesome Italian deli. Ordered a few sandwiches and let’s just say speed is not their strong suite. If you have a short lunch I would suggest calling ahead. I ordered the Italian sandwich it was ok not the greatest I have ever had. Not a fan of their bread.

New uptown Kingston spot that’s definitely worth a stop! Authentic feeling Italian deli that gave that family vibe just walking in. We ordered two subs which were pricey ($15 ish each) but stackedd and lasted us 2 meals each! Ingredients were fresh and quality. We especially commented on the crispy breaded eggplant that was perfection and that fresh mozz. The bread has that crucial seasame seeded crunch that we know and love. The John Gotti was soooo dang good we’ve already talked about coming back for round 2. Fresh deli salads, cannolis, and other Italian grocery staples also available. I’d definitely recommend stopping into Salamone’s!

Amazing, low key spot with one of the best prosciutto sandwiches I’ve had in years. Bread was great, soft with a little chew with sesame seeds. Meat was sliced on the spot, perfectly thin. Rainbow cookies were also solid.

This place is relatively new but it’s so good! A solid deli that sells Italian specialty foods, including cured meats, a bunch of different olives, raviolis, homemade sauce, and you can get sandwiches made here too.
There’s also your classic Italian pastries sold here.
What really makes it special is the staff are so friendly and nice treat you like family even when it’s your first time here.
