In all fairness it WAS a lot of fun and entertaining as well. My daughter had a REALLY FUN 22nd birthday. Well worth it!
If you’re thinking about going to a semi expensive restaurant and want the best bang for your buck, go here! Watched the other chefs while waiting and they were great pro formers too!
The chef was very funny and friendly
Everything was great since we entered the restaurant till we left. It is too much food you need to be really hungry to go there, In fact we were hungry and we took the rest of the food back home. The restaurant is really clean the service was very friendly, the quality of food is really great. I didn’t think that this place will care about both funny and friendly service and quality of food and the quantity too
We ordered meat, Chicken, shrimp, calamari. The chef always ask you how you want your meat done and he was really good at it. The best we had was the fillet mignon, It was very tender, delicious, the seasoning was super great.
Overall experience, The show was really nice and very funny. This is one of the best experience we’ve ever had. Definitely definitely definitely we’ll go again
To reiterate; our chef was friendly, fun and cooked everything to perfection. The food was delicious (seriously, one of the best lobster tails I’ve ever had), the decorations and lighting of the restaurant were nice and I had forgotten how much fun the Teppanyaki experience was.
It would have easily been all five stars if they didn’t have such a horrible front end.
Now the rest-
Here is the thing, its very middle of the road flavor profiles with this kind of food and I look at it being similar to American Chinese food (everything is brown, salty and sweet). Also the steaks were clearly usda standard select beef, restaurants should at a minimum use Choice or Prime beef.
For 4 of us with tip it was over $300. Now I dont mind paying $1800 for four of us when I see value. We spend a great deal of money eating all over the world. I just dont see the value in this kind of food or experience, it’s feels like you’re paying for entertainment 1st and food 2nd. Also they need to get a new Sake to serve hot, one thats less earthy and has more melon and floral notes.
Now just the day prior I was at a Japanese restaurant called ISSIAN with my family, had 3 x the amount of Sake here and had twice as much food and it included fresh grilled Mackerel, Sashami combos, pork belly, Wagu steak and more for $100 less. Just saying!
