Nice little Italian spot. Definitely on my short list of go to Italian eateries. The lady at the bar serving my wife and I was just the sweetest and friendly person you could meet. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but I will definitely be returning and her service is half the reason. The place is small but cozy. Very nice for a dinner with a special person.

I love everything about this restaurant! I found it accidentally, while seeking a delicious risotto, which I definitely found. This was my second visit and I had the pleasure of being served my amazing appetizer, entree and dessert by a wonderfully beautiful server named Robin. She’s new, personable, sweet and awesome at what she does.
As an appetizer I had the Oysters Rockefeller, my entree was the Penne Paesana and for dessert, one of the most delicious and smooth Creme Brulee’s I’ve ever had the pleasure to taste.

My family and I just left and unfortunately did not have a positive experience.
Upon arrival, we were seated immediately at a high-top table off to the side, despite there being several open booths available in the main dining area. Because of a knee issue, I am unable to sit comfortably at high-top tables, so my husband politely asked whether we could be seated at a booth instead.
The host advised that she would need to check with a manager before accommodating the request. While we understand that seating decisions may sometimes require approval, the interaction left us feeling unwelcome and as though our request was an inconvenience rather than a reasonable accommodation.
After the host returned, my family decided it would be best to leave rather than continue the dining experience feeling uncomfortable. It was disappointing, especially given the availability of other seating options at the time. As the only people of color in the restaurant at the time, the overall experience carried an added layer of discomfort that should not be overlooked.
We hope the restaurant will reflect on how guests are welcomed and accommodated, because every family deserves to feel respected, comfortable, and valued from the moment they walk in.

We had such a nice Valentine’s Dinner here. Our waitress’ name escapes me, but the young lady gave us excellent recommendations for our wines and provided quick service on a very busy night. The Risotto was incredible, as was our Penne Paesano, and our cappuccino’s ended the Italian experience wonderfully. I was very pleased with this restaurant for the occasion. Thank you for the hospitality!

4/10/23 – Went to this place on Thursday evening. They have a large bar top area.
There is additional seating behind the wine wall. The food was really good.
The bread was nice and fluffy but lacked flavor but some butter helps with that.
I got the Mediterranean pasta and asked for light sun dried tomatoes, it was super delicious.
The plate makes the dish look small in my opinion but I was wrong about that. There was definitely a good portion in the bowl that I was able to take home. We also got a bottle of wine, which I am not sure which kind but it was pretty good. Haley was also super nice as our server. It wasn’t too busy on Thursday night either. Everyone else with my table really liked their food too. I am excited to come back and try some more items.

First time there, was 100% chaos. It was great, everyone was weeded, host was trying to do his best, kitchen was backed up. Service was only superseded by the food. Acat was awesome and made it even better. Food was amazing, as well as the staff. I will be back.

Friends had told me the best place for fresh focaccia was in Virginia Beach at a place called Vino Italian bistro and they were right. Not only was that amazing but I wanted to get something off the menu. I asked for a chicken Parmesan sub, and they didn’t hesitate to make it for me and it was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a great place to have lunch, take advantage of some amazing lunch specials, if it’s a meeting or just an escape from the workday, I can’t say enough great things about Italian bistro in Virginia Beach. They have wine specials during the week as well so I will be back for dinner soon! If you are thinking Italian restaurants in VA Beach make sure that Vino Italian bistro is on your list!!

What a hidden gem this spot is, right in the heart of Kempsville. My fiancé and I went for lunch for the first time today and had a great experience from the food, to the service, to the interior decor. Desiree was our server and she was phenomenal. My only complaint is that she was expected to be everything front of house from host, to server, to bartender, food runner, busser, all by herself, and it became a near fully seated restaurant while we were in today. She absolutely held down the whole operation better than most and did it all with a smile. She was fantastic and deserves as much commendation as a google review can provide.

I had placed a togo order through their website. I get to the bar and state I’m here for a togo order and the first words out of the bar tender was “no you’re not”. She proceeded to say she turned off door dash orders for Valentine’s day. Problem is I ordered through their website. I understand it is a very busy time but getting greeted like I’m an asshole when I did nothing wrong is just ridiculous. Plus I got charged and have to wait for a refund that she did nothing to help out with. Not even gonna bother going back.
Update, even if it did send me to another processing site, it went through. My statement says Vino Italian restaurant charge. And that’s besides the point. You don’t have to be in customer service to understand that’s not how you talk to people. I wasn’t rude nor did I want to bother her any further cause clearly she couldn’t just explain the mix up first before acting so rudely. I’m a bartender and even when I’m weeded, or stressed from a busy day, it would never be acceptable for me to greet a guest that way.
To sum up I would’ve understood if it was just a tech issue. I don’t understand greeting people that way

I understand that Valentine’s Day is a busy day, but the waiter was lost. It was not his day, but the bartender and another waitress came to the rescue to save our dinner. Food was very good, will give them another try not on such a busy night.
The waitress and woman bartender who I spoke with at the end of our night (8pm ish) service was great.
