This small little sandwich shop has great quality food. My dad tends to stop by to grab soups for my son (his grandson) and I. I’m hooked on the wedding soup, its delicious. Here’s a peep of the broth left and my dog waiting impatiently to clean the bowl. They also have great subs.

My husband stopped by and ordered us two Regular Hoagies. I am from the area generally and have heard people talk about the subs from Vine Street and how good they are. They did not disappoint. I thought the meat was placed oddly, but I made it work. They actually had pickled jalapenos, which seems hard to find these days. The portion size was large for the price. The buns were uniquely amazing. I’d say it’s the best hoagie you’re going to get in this area for $5!

This was the first time my husband and I ate here. We got the Turkey and cheese cold hoagies, Big Ben’s white birch beer and Kettle cooked Middleswarth chips. We grabbed our hoagies and sat outside at 1 of the 2 tables they had out for customers. This hoagie shop is located on the corner of Vine street in Mt Carmel Pa and its easy to find. This place is also very cute and nostalgic. The prices are reasonable and remember it’s a 16 inch hoagie NOT a 12 inch like most other places have. They have a nice variety of hot and cold items to choose from. They also sell other items to go such as Mac salad, soups, homemade cheese, meat sticks etc. They have a small assortment of old fashion candy and a variety of chips and drinks. We would definitely recommend this place.

The couple of times I’ve stopped in here it’s always been a smooth experience. Food is always good quality. Staff is pretty friendly. I can only comment on their hoagies and chicken finger meal that it’s among the best. I never have any problems like I do with any of the fast food restaurants in the area. Do yourself a favor and stop by sometime!

Regular stop for me and worth the drive! They have the best bacon and beans I’ve had to go along with a wide variety of selections on there menu to make it a top notch quality dining experience! Which is capped off by there ery friendly, courteous and efficient staff to make it pleasurable and definately worth the trip!

The Vine Street Sandwich Shop reminds me of the “Corner Store” I used to go to for candy when I was a kid! This place not only had it all, they do it all. They make incredible sub sandwiches, Burgers, French Fries, Chef Salads, Macaroni Salad, AWESOME Soups. You name it, they have it, or Make it. Vine Street Sandwich Shop has become a Friday Night Dinner for me and the family!!

The food is almost always fantastic. The workers aren’t friendly and don’t usually know the answer to your question. The counter and waiting space are small. But because the food is good, it’s worth putting up with the other stuff.

The food I purchased was great. Love the chicken tenders and the coleslaw! The staff was happy to fulfill my special request not to slice the block of cheese I ordered. But the young lady at the register must have been having a bad day as she never smiled and never looked directly at any of the customers.

This place used to be good. The portions are smaller, the hoagie rolls changed, and the prices went up. Fries were soggy and tasteless. Will not recommend.

Great place great food. But ordered a chicken cheesesteak in the garden.when I got there i asked 3 different time this is a chicken cheesesteak was told yes all 3 times got home. Husband came home to ear and it was a regular cheesesteak.Very disappointed.
