Village Tavern is a typical bar and tavern experience. While the burger was decent, there wasn’t much else to write home about during the meal. Unfortunately, my order was messed up (wrong fries and no bacon on the burger as requested), and the replacement fries arrived borderline burnt. Service was super spotty with drinks taking forever to arrive and minimal interaction with the waitress to even address the errors. The bar was also very smoky and dated, which made the atmosphere unpleasant.
Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, and I’ll likely not return.

This is a local bar that I have frequented a handful of times. Aside from good drinks and friendly people, they also serve some really good food. They have a full menu with everything from typical bar food to ribs, soups, burgers, chicken, and different fish dinners on Fridays. If you’re a chili lover, then you must try it here. Many people say it’s a favorite.
If you’re only looking for a bar experience, you can get that here too. There is also outdoor seating for those warm summer nights.

YUM! Fabulous Burger & fries! Hit the spot on the rainy election night. Our server was so attentive and friendly. Fun atmosphere with the classic twist. Would definitely recommend and return if passing through again.

Went for Memorial Day lunch bc it was one of the few places open. I got the fish basket (as I have in the past) and my husband got the patty melt sub onion rings. Unfortunately the food was meh. I’ve had their fish basket before with hand breaded fillets that you could tell were real bc their shapes were all different and the better was uneven. Instead I got 3 uniform triangle shaped pieces of freezer fish. Fries were good, coleslaw sucked- minced and soupy. But I was super disappointed about the fish. Husband’s sandwich was meh. Burger patty thinned out and kinda rubbery. No crispy edges. And the sauce was not patty melt sauce. Don’t know what it was tho. Also, to substitute a half order of onion rings instead of fries it was $5.50. Ridiculous. Service was awesome, everything was ordered correctly. Just wish lunch tasted better.

What a great find. Food was amazing and we enjoyed the long island ice teas we had. The pork rinds were still popping as they were brought out made fresh and were so good.

Came here to get dinner. Online, it shows the kitchen open till 12, we called about 3 minutes after 10, and was told that the kitchen has been closed since 10. You should not have hours listed online that do not match what you offer. I am very disappointed, and now we have to deal with a group of people that all made food choices from here to choose elsewhere. Lost a lot of business due to the wrong hours listed. In addition, the lady who answered the phone was quite rude and not apologetic at all for your incorrect listing that caused us this inconvenience.

We are visiting from Dayton, OH. Addie was our server. She recommended the hot cheese cubes, Ruben, and the Philly cheesesteak. We had all three and were delicious! She was a fantastic server and we would highly recommend visiting Village Inn.
