An incredible spot for the whole family! The food is delicious, with something for everyone, and it truly hits the mark. What made our experience unforgettable, though, was the amazing service—special shoutout to Maria and Jesus, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect.
Honestly, I haven’t experienced service this attentive and welcoming, even at fine dining restaurants on the Strip! A perfect combination of great food, family-friendly atmosphere, and outstanding staff. Highly recommend!

Had the worst experience! We have had issues here a number of times. The only reason we went there was because our pregnant daughter was craving their pot pie. Our waitress was rude and wanted to upcharge us for everything. I asked if I could have 2 vegetables instead of the mashed potatoes. She said no. So I asked if I could have a baked potato with only butter instead of the mashed potatoes. She said yes no problem. Then she came back and said I will have to upcharge you the potato. I asked when did you start this? We have come here for years and never have been upcharged. Her reply was I don’t know. So I canceled my dinner and asked for just a dinner salad. She said it’s going to be 6.50 for that. I said never mind. I will just sit there while my family eats there dinner. I went and spoke to a manager and he said he didn’t understand why she was trying to upcharge us. He went to talk to her and she started arguing with him. The entire time we were there she was arguing with him and kept giving me dirty looks. I will never return here! The food is not very good anymore, the service has gone down hill, the prices are high! There are much, much much better places to eat around this location. My suggestion is to stay far away from the restaurant part of this place!!!!!!

Food is always good. Prices are very reasonable
The cream of potato soup that I had tonight was one of the best soups i’ve ever eaten in my whole life. No joke. But the best part of our dinner was our waitress Veronica. She was very attentive and very nice .
you should ask for her when you go in there.

I think we came on an off-day or something. We waited for our food for over an hour. We got an update at around 35-40ish minutes and we were told the oven was busted and it’d be another couple of minutes. We didn’t get our food for another 20 minutes and when it did come out, the orders were wrong. Which is not a huge deal, however, when that was fixed, most of the food was uncooked and inedible. The sausage for the kids was raw, the egg whites were raw as well as the potatoes. I do have the give the steak a 10/10, it was cooked beautifully and the seasoning was on point.
Overall, not super happy with our visit.

We have been coming here every Saturday morning for breakfast. Recently it was very uncomfortable atmosphere. The girls are wonderful and kind however a very strange, new, large man was standing by the kitchen door with a look of disgust during our visit.

We went to Village Pub and Casino because it was close to us, and it had good reviews. The food was tasteless ,but they had a lot of condiments on the table, which helped. The sour cream texture was strange and didn’t taste so good. The atmosphere was quiet and a little run down. The location middle of Desert Shores, Village Pub and Casino, I expected more. There were only about 4 people in the restaurant. The service was excellent. Thank you, Karina! The food price was a bargain, but again, the food was not so good.

We’ve been here multiple times as it’s right down the street from us, but I had to make this review because whoever thought to add onion rings on their meatloaf special this month is a genius. I’ve never liked brown gravy on meatloaf. No matter where, it never got me excited for meatloaf. Now, red ketchup baked on the meatloaf is a different story.
I thought I’d try this special because they had mushroom sauce on it, and I love mushrooms. We went on Saturday and I demanded to go back tonight because everything about the meal was so delicious.
The sauce was good, and those fried onion rings just blew it out of the water! Of course, the green beans were amazing and cooked perfectly. The mash potatoes were suitably chunky and not mushy.
What a deal at only $10.99 with mashed potatoes and your choice of salad or soup. We chose soup but upgraded it to French onion soup, which was very tasty and filling, considering it was a bar restaurant.
I think one of the reasons why we don’t go more often is because it is a little bit smoky from the bar area, and when they are busy which is most of the time, service is a tad slow (multiple servers, not just one). The employees are all very nice though!

We went to dinner for our 24th anniversary and the food was fantastic! We had the baked potato skins for an appetizer and steak dinners with baked potato and garlic green beans. Had the chicken and wild rice soup and the wife had the house salad. Every thing was delicious and the staff was very attentive to us as we enjoyed our dining experience.

10/15/22 – Located in the heart of the Desert Shores community but open to the public, I have been going here since 2005. It consistently provides a friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced higher quality “bar” and diner food. Frequented by regulars and retirees, I would recommend it also for being surrounded by the scenic lakes of Desert Shores and their numerous walking trails. #pmhthelife
