Great little diner, convenient for nearby motels (and serves a nicer breakfast than motel offers!)

Arrived for solo dinner. Seated immediately. One server working multiple tables. Service very friendly but a little slow. Side salad fries and a club sandwich. Portions large. Foos competently prepared. This is pretty standard diner fare. Good and on target.

The wait was not long at all; we were seated almost immediately. We did, however, come during off-peak hours. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to all requests. The Village Inn felt relaxed and calming. The lighting was not overwhelming. Cleanliness also seemed to be a priority. Overall, the restaurant was wonderful and welcoming, and I look forward to returning.

Village Inn is a nice spot to have breakfast and lunch at, also dinner if you like the breakfast style dinner options. They also have burgers and sandwiches, but it is a breakfast centric restaurant. I would not say it is the healthiest option by any stretch of the imagination. I would imagine mostly everything is prepared in seed oils, which are immensely detrimental to longevity. It is tasty, though! Our waitress was very pleasant and nice, paid attention to our wants quite well.

This place was a treasure! When we arrived there was a wait but the staff went out of their way to try to expedite it for us despite the crew shortage and crowd. Once we were seated the Supervisor came over to make sure we were good. Our waiter Ryan was very entertaining and hospitable. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made our meal an experience. As for the food, it was great! Our food came quickly and was freshly made. The pies are so delicious at least the ones we had.. We are already looking forward to eating here again!

The waitress went above and beyond to make sure I got a garden skillet. Ordering it at both locations in Tallahassee always seems problematic at first. There isn’t a garden skillet on the menu. It had been a while since my last visit so I forgot that you have to ask the cook on duty for specific ingredients. At first I got a no and then she came back assuring me that it could be done. My meal was excellent! Hot, fresh and the presentation helped!
