We are staying in Rumbling Bald for a weekend trip and got food from here as takeout for lunch and it was delicious!! The crispy chicken wrap is VERY good. The kids enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. The fried cornbread and onion rings were good too. The workers inside were extremely courteous and it has an adorable atmosphere inside.

We stopped in for lunch today between errands and it truly was like being in someone’s well-loved home. I had the grilled ham & cheese and a bowl of the homemade vegetable beef soup and hubby had a cheeseburger with fries.

Great spot with friendly service and tasty menu options. Our only complaint was waiting forty minutes for a breakfast burrito and a combo with over easy eggs, bacon and pancakes. It could have been an off morning for the cook, or it could very well be that 10am on a Saturday will always give you the true southern pace. We also got four slices of the chocolate peanut butter cake to-go for dessert after our BBQ later that evening and it was TO DIE FOR.

It’s a decent local historic spot. The food is good and reliable. Getting in to park can be tricky, and even when quiet it might take a minute to get served. French dip tasted good and was made fresh. Nice water view in the front as you come in.

We waited quite awhile to get our food once seated inside BUT the ladies at Victory Kitchen are so hospitable. Our food was perfect. I got a pancake, sausage, and a side of hash browns. If you’re torn between hash browns and breakfast potatoes, get the breakfast potatoes. They’re perfectly seasoned. We spent around $40 for two of us to eat until we were stuffed. It’s a local favorite for a reason.

Went here for breakfast. Had a short wait to get a table (no problem). Once we were seated waiter took our order, then we waited almost an hour for breakfast. Waiter never came back to offer refills on beverages. The food was average at best. Portions were small for the prices. Don’t come here if you are in a hurry.

We were in from out of state and came upon this place for breakfast. Not sure how there are so many great reviews…..AC was not working, slow service and food took forever (about an hour). When we did get our food the portions were super small and price was ridiculously high. Not the greatest quality or taste. Fried bologna and ham were literally super thin slices of lunch meat. We had better dinners including appetizers for the same or less money. Super disappointed.

Very cute and quaint local place. Very friendly staff, enjoyed it very much. Biscuits were fresh, sausage gravy was good too. But remember two things… #1 breakfast service stops at 1030am. and they don’t serve anything else until 11am. And #2 – you are in the south and everything is slow. I don’t say this to be critical, you just need to know to expect this everywhere. But definitely visit this locally owned, popular w locals, Christian based and yummy spot. Thank you ladies!!!!

The Blueberry Pancakes are AMAZING and the burritos are GREAT. We waited about 30minutes as it is not a huge restaurant, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Family owned and operated and they are so kind! You really should try it!
