Great family oriented restaurant. Friendly staff, great food, huge portions, I love that they will cook the way you want your food.
I can’t eat much deep fried foods or too much sugar, I can order food without special sauces they will cook how I prefer it.
I love the idea of fresh and healthy salads and they will do a baked fish for me, I always leave with extra food absolutely a gem in our little town.. they have something for everybody. There were times I just could not have a huge portion, and they let me order off the senior citizen menu.. this place is awesome.
Definitely well worth the wait.
Most of the time you don’t have to wait but if they’re busy that’s because the food is excellent.
Anything from homemade pizzas to Mexican to burgers, old school burgers, from pasta baked pork chops, they do have a special everyday.
Wine and beer is definitely a bonus .
We appreciate having her in our little town.

CFD is a hidden gem hiding in plain sight. The best, homemade, delicious food for a small diner. Everything so far is exceptional as it bursts with flavor like gramma’s old world meals tasted. Favorite place to go for a satisfying meal that doesn’t break your wallet. How long can that last? Enjoyable experience.

It honestly breaks my heart to leave this review, we always went to new leaf since they opened. Always loved the different specials they had and other menu items as well. The staff was always pleasant especially Erica! Now we can’t even make it there with the hrs they have. Nor do we really want to as food quality has gone down from what it was…. I may give them a chance again in the future but for now I guess we have to travel to find somewhere that is similar to what new leaf was…

Had blackened chicken Alfredo and it’s surprised me how good it was. Also had garlic cheese curds and those were the bomb! Feels like I have 5 lb of leftovers well worth the price.

The food itself wasn’t bad, OK at best but the service was frustrating. After finishing, we sat for about 20 minutes with no check and eventually had to go up to the counter just to pay. No one asked how our food was or offered any follow-up. It felt like we were inconveniencing them just to settle the bill. I also had a beer sitting at the end of the table for nearly an hour that was never cleared or asked if I wanted anything else. Service was so slow. The salad bar sucked – lot of options but everything was cold. Mashed potatoes were some of the worst I had. The fish was a good portion and the salad bar and potato bar is a good idea but wasn’t very good. Came once before and was a little better but after this not coming back. The old restaurant was way better and I don’t think it’s fair that the old reviews from the Fobs restaurant show up for New Leaf, nothing is the same. New Leafs rating would be terrible as you can see from the last year of reviews.

Goes by “Crystal Falls Diner” now? Very large portions & reasonable prices. I had the Turkey Club & my wife had the Italian Sub. Both came with chips and were very good. We could have split either sandwich between us, they were that large. Recommend.

A Great Mom and Pops place. If you come to the town of Crystal falls you need to stop. The service was great the food is just like mom made. Portions are good size for the price, and it looks like everyone knows each other like a friendly place to eat.

Glad I passed by the bars in town and stopped here instead. After a long day hunting it was a perfect fit for what I was looking for.
I had the cod fish fry and it was really good. Nice size which I easily had leftovers so it’s a win win for me. The staff were super nice and helpful. Worth a stop when in town for a nice meal.
