Had breakfast with a friend of mine this morning and tried out Valerie’s for the 1st time! From the minute I walked through the door the hostess was incredibly friendly and just overall polite. That made a difference. We got a seat by the window which was nice! Service was great! The gentleman we had did a great job. I rated the food 4 out of 5 because, although it was VERY good… I hoped my hash browns were more crispier as I had requested. All is well, I know it takes time. I had a Benny with spinach, tomatoes and bacon & it was delightful but I don’t believe my English muffin was toasted at all. I’m use to a toasted EM which added yummy flavor and a bit of a crunch! The egg was cooked perfectly and all was great over all.

The staff was friendly, the place is clean. We didn’t wait to be seated. The 2 of us enjoyed a great lunch where it was not crowded. The only comment is, the fries are never really hot. Still very tasty. I had the chicken pesto panini! Yum!

First time here and it was ok. I had reuben sandwich which was tasty and was portioned well. Substituted home fries instead of regular fries. They weren’t bad, just cold. Husband had eggs Benedict with homefries that were warmer than mine, definitely not hot. He also had biscuits and gravy. Everything was OK.

Visited on a Wed morning. Place was about 30% full and staffing seems appropriate for the number of customers. Sat at the bar since I was alone. Menu has a good selection of items and prices are in line with most other places like this. I had homemade hash with scrambled. Hash was very good and was finely shreded, they also have canned hash if that is not to your liking. Restrooms are modern and well maintained, always a plus. Overall, exactly what I expected, will be on my radar when going through this area.

My eggs Benedict with home made hash was a disappointment. The hash was mostly large chunks of ham. Tough to chew and no potatoes or carrots that I could see. The English muffin was very chewy, as though it had been microwaved. The eggs were cooked correctly, but I am guessing the Hollandaise sauce is not home made. If it is, they need to use more lemon juice and less thickener. The home fries were not good. Half of them were hard as a rock, and they had a slightly fishy smell and taste. The service was great, and the atmosphere was fine as well. We will give it another shot, bit I will definitely order something different. And lastly, in 2026 it’s hard to believe they have no gluten free toast or other bread selections.

Took my nieces here to try somewhere new for breakfast. We were all pretty let down. The atmosphere and service were great, and our wait was short. But the food was not good. My niece got a burrito, and it was sopping wet. My other niece got pancakes and we didn’t even notice it has chocolate chips in them until we cut deep into them and flipped them over and dug for them. Our potatoes weren’t seasoned at all, they were just potatoes put on a plate. Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen, not sure. But we did not enjoy.

It was really nice inside, but service and food left a lot to be desired. We had to flag our server down multiple times to order, get more napkins, and then finally to get the check. The pancakes were good, but the sandwich had a thick layer of plain boiled spinach that added an odd texture and no seasoning.

We absolutely LOVE this place! We’ve ate in and done take out a few times now and the food looks and tastes amazing either way we get it! Price is very good too! We got the regular stack of pancakes, hash browns with grilled onions and chicken and waffles!

The staff and atmosphere was great. By the size of the crowd and hour long wait we expected a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately, the kielbasa omelette was bland and the peppers were still raw, the homemade corned beef hash was dry, crunchy, salty and just not good, the blueberry pancake was thin, dense, and almost flavorless, to the point I thought it was gluten free. It was very expensive for breakfast so it was a big disappointment for this breakfast lover.
