The very very blue moose…
We have been coming here since they opened many years ago. The food continues to be great, especially the handmade pizza. I’m sorry to see one of our favorite family traditions come to an end. I’d recommend just getting takeout. We were told there was a 35 minute wait for a table (which we expected) when we arrived but there were clearly several tables open. Someone other than the hostess seated us. If we had not ordered when we sat down there no telling how long we would have waited. On the table there was literally one fork, two knives, and one napkin in the silverware caddy. We had to get up and go to the bar AFTER our dinner came to get silverware and napkins. We also ended up going to another empty table to pick up parmesan and red peppers for the pizza. We also had to ask for more water. Nobody checked in to see if everyone was doing well or needed anything. I’m not sure how long we waited for a box for leftovers but we were unsuccessful multiple times when trying to flag down any server. I am profoundly saddened by our experience tonight. Again, the food WAS OUTSTANDING. The rest not so much. Food 10/10. Service 0/10. I would give the service negative stars if I could. Might try again next time we visit Vail but if there is not serious improvement we won’t be eating here again-maybe takeout but not dine in.

First place we ate at when we got to Vail while waiting to check into our hotel (the Arrabelle). Location was very convenient. Went for lunch, service was great, our waitress was awesome. Pizza was pretty good but toppings seemed a little skimpy. Artichoke dip was not too bad but would have preferred a soft bread or chips to dip into it. But still good!

We came for a quick snack after a good day. The hostess was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were sat at a wobbly table and asked if we could move to a different table, she was clearly annoyed and started explaining that we cannot. (The place was empty, they had plenty of tables)
Although , the server Karlo was very nice, he made our experience better. We ordered just two drinks and two slices of pizza. Everything came out fast and the pizza was really good.

After searching Vail far and wide for great Apres Ski deals (and also great pizza), we landed here. We came here twice during our trip. For Apres ski it is 2-4pm, and it is $4 draft beer, or $8 for a beer and a slice of pizza. (It is also $5 house wines and $6 spritzes). They have quite a few on tap beers to choose from. We tried out the Vail brewing red ale, the wibby dunkle, the vail brewing IPA, mountain time lager, and the vail brewing blonde ale. The slice of pizza comes with one topping, and it can be any topping on the menu and they have a lot of toppings to choose from. We ordered for our one toppings: pineapple, salami, meatball, and spicy hot peppers. The slice of pizza came out piping hot and it is quite large! It was super delicious. You can also just order the $4 draft beer and get any slice of pizza and just pay the $6.25 it costs for a specialty slice. We got the cowboy which was great and we got the pizza of the month which for this month was pizza-racha which was basically a chicken bacon ranch with sriracha. Both were super good. They have a whole variety of items on the menu and a whole variety of pizzas as well. First time we sat at the bar and second time we sat at a table with a server. The first time we wanted to sit outside but it seemed neither the server or the bartender wanted to go outside so we had to sit inside which was a small bummer, but the pizza and beer Apres ski deal and the deliciousness of the pizza outweighed that. We will be back the next time we are in Vail.

Tried the gf chicken ranch pizza because a friend recommended it and it was so good! Service from Gustavo was top as well but the start of the night was for sure the s’mores cookie! I’ll definitely come back just to order those!

I dont know what happened to this place – review is based on multiple visits. Pizza base used to be crispy, now it’s floppy and toppings soupy. Chicken wings are nicely cooked but all sauce options other than buffalo are removed; and the amount of the sauce was barely enough to coat some of the pieces. No carrots nor celery is an option, nor they exist in the kitchen. Waiting staff are not versed in the menu or how add ons are priced. It used to be awesome, not anymore. Amateur hour.

Pretty average place… Service was incredibly slow, and the food I got (I know I did not make the right choices), was average. They say add chicken to any soup or salad, but waiters are perplexed when actually asked for that request. My party had a great time, but I would not come back.

We waited over 40 minutes and still didn’t receive our pizza. The kids’ food was overcooked and dry. The restaurant wasn’t full, but the waiters complained it was too crowded. A slice of pizza we didn’t order was added to our bill, but luckily we noticed and cancelled. We left hungry and disheartened.

The food is very great here. Customer service is very awful. The waiter placed my wings on the table with no plates no napkins no wipes as you can see on the photo just the chicken. The pizza was very tasteful. The waiter did not provide great customer service no refills on drinks. We had to ask a different waiter for a refill so I kept my $50 tip.

Great pizzas and good service! By far the best place to grab pizza in Vail, so many tasty options. We showed up right when they opened for lunch so it wasn’t too crowded yet. Our server was great and recommended some really good pizzas!
