Seating is like cafeteria style. Order at the counter, you get a buzzer to let you know your food is ready & pick it up from the counter when it’s ready. There are plenty of seats however I can see the place easily getting crowded at peak lunch time during the weekends. Not sure when they open but you can get an early lunch even at 10:30 am here!
Food is hot and fresh. I had the green curry chicken with jasmine rice. Everything was made fresh. Chicken was large chunks and distinguishable.
The chicken bowl had chopped up chicken sous vide which is on the bland side, good if you are watching your salt intake but it does come with a brown sauce on the side.
The Kao Soi tasted good and had a rich creamy broth.
I ordered a chicken pad thai. Unfortunately, the flavor was on the bland side and severely lacking in tamarind flavor/sourness. Chicken was also very scant. They added cilantro on top which isn’t typical of authentic pad thai. The pad thai also did not have any egg in it. Last but not least, the noodles were also oily.
The Tom gha curry was very good but small portion wise. It was actually mostly soup and less chicken and vegetables.
Overall, it wasn’t the best Thai food I’ve had.
Food: So far I’ve tried Zaab bowl, Chinese broccoli bowl, Ba-Mhee dry Tom Yum bowl. All were very delicious and taste quite authentic. I like that everything comes in a takeout container so I can take my left over home since they do give you a lot of food.
Service: It’s food court style. The thai lady who took my order was very nice and you can ask for extra spice on the side if you want to adjust the spice level yourself. You order at the counter, get a buzzer, find a table, pick up food at counter once ready, when you finish eating put away your food tray at a corresponding tray station (each restaurant has one).
Value: The bowls are $14-15 and you do get a decent amount of food. I think it’s worth it especially considering the flavors & how convenient it is to eat here while you’re out grocery shopping.
Ambience: It’s in a food court so very casual.
Crowd: I normally come here not during busy time so it wasn’t very crowded and plenty of tables to sit and eat. Although I did come here once during peak time and there was no tables so I ended up doing a take-out order instead.
Parking: There’s a decent size parking lot at Lotte market and I’ve never had a problem finding a parking spot here.
