I’ve lived in sinking spring for over a year and I never ate here before because the big red flag was no one ever was there when I drove past. Tonight I was hungry because I was out snow shopping and decided to stop by. I was not going to order anything I thought could possibly be bad like a cold sandwich so I ordered a chicken cheesesteak thinking that it would be safe and the meat would be frozen. I got home took one bite and it was spoiled. If green could taste it would definitely be this chicken cheesesteak that I ordered. Another bite confirmed my first thought and in the trash it went. So if ever you have a red flag go up please listen to it. I will never ever go here again.

I was there 8/2 to grab my family lunch. I spent $42. I left a tip and did not even get a thank you.

When we got home I opened up or food and the small cheesesteak was lacking meat. Was definitely no worth the money spent.

Poor attitude, poor service, poor quality. Disappointed in the low standards.

This was the first hoagie I got in Berks County when I moved to that area. I had a meatball sub on hard roll and helped with a turkey sub with lettuce and mayo on a hard roll. Rolls were very good and Turkey was a nice thick cut. I also had corn nuggets that once common place are now hard to find. The staff was welcoming and food came out quickly. Large eat in area and family friendly. The pizza is a good price and re heats well. Establishment was clean and I would recommend for a good sub at a good price.

I ordered a LARGE Homeland Italian sandwich, with lettuce tomato onions, sweet & hot peppers. With mayo and vinegar. When I went to pick it up I asked in a joking manner if it was cut in half since many places in Berks count don’t. The young man said , “oh was it on the order slip to cut it in half”? So he cut it for me, but said, “we usually don’t cut them in half”. Mind you this young man was very polite and was just shocked I asked for it to be cut in half.
But when I got back home, I opened it up. And boom. No tomatoes, no peppers and a few slivers of onions. I Called to notify about the issue and they asked if I could return the sandwich (which was perfectly fine because I only want what I pay for) and they’d remake my sandwich. Well the second was skimpy but with a little more lettuce and the missing peppers. Let’s just say I miss the days when a large was a large and you didn’t have to ask for a LARGE to be cut in half.

This was my first time going to this V and S location. I ordered a small cheesesteak and fries. The bun was chewy and very little meat and the fries definitely looked like they were made earlier and rewarmed back up. Will not go back. Way over priced for the quality.

They have all the things on the menu that a sandwich shop should at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, but they do have the obligatory rack of chips and a drink cooler.
A true necessity in a Pennsylvania sandwich shop.

Best of what used to be great cheesesteaks shops in Berks (Chubby’s, Tack’s, Sonny’s on Rte 222) all gone.

We ordered three sandwiches in person and I got two of them totally wrong, nothing like what we ordered, with everything just falling out of the Roll. When we called them back to point it out they seem totally disinterested. They used to be good, but now just go down the street to Tony’s or tosco’s and get a lot better sandwich

This place used to be the bomb, but not after the last visit. Their sandwiches used to be over flowing with meat. Now, there wasn’t enough meat to fill the bun. I wish I would have taken a picture of “it”. The last inch on either sides of the sandwich was nothing but a spoon full of sauce, NO MEAT!.
I was sooo disappointed. I’ve always loved how full of meat their sandwiches WERE.
The last Italian I got there was excellent, but after the last cheese steak, i’m alittle bit hesitate to waste my money there. After this recent experience, I give them 2 stars.
FILL THE BUNS LIKE YOU USED TO, NOWVTHEY SUCK!!

Hit or miss. Occasionally you’ll get a good sandwich. 3 out of 4 times have been bad and they don’t care to remedy issues. This was all the lettuce on half of a large ham sandwich, which was on a hard roll but was supposed to be on a soft roll.
