Urbane Café is one of my go-to spots for fresh, delicious Mediterranean-inspired food. 4.9 stars – this review is long overdue. I’ve been to urbane cafe two separate times already and both visits were knockouts. For a casual establishment, the quality of ingredients and cookware they use here are quite elevated (perhaps they use organic or 316 stainless steel?). In our most recent visit we ordered the sweet chili crunch sandwich with salad – usually sandwiches can be dry but this one was moist, flavorful, and left nothing to be desired. The protein was seasoned properly and cooked to perfection. Salad was dressed nicely and refreshing.
On another visit we ordered the seared ahi tuna bowl – on the outset it didn’t look appetizing but the tuna melted in our mouths and the whole grain rice, marinated kale, and other greens were moist and complemented the protein impeccably. As an understatement – it was not a chore to chew through a healthy dish.
Service was friendly and fast – it is pay at the counter and choose your own seating.
Edit: Came a third time and ordered the UC Bahn Mi. The cook on the protein was perfect and quality was consistent with previous two visit. Rating stays

I ordered online a cilantro chicken salad. To substitute chicken with salmon they charged $7.30. $28 later, I received the salad, with a thin slice of cold, dry salmon that, to my surprise, came with barbeque sauce. The salad had no cilantro and the vinaigrette was rather disgusting. I will never buy again. For less, I can get a high quality salad at Bolero.

been here twice and was very pleasantly surprised at how much i love the seared ahi tuna bowl!! friendly staff, very reasonably priced, no charge for the side piece of bread or extra ponzu dressing (which i highly recommend) and i practically lick the bowl clean, even though i’m usually not even a fan of some of these ingredients. definitely would go again!

Food is always fresh and delicious. Can get a little pricey especially if not alone, but the portions are nice and they have you filled without the guilt- energized, too. For healthy “fast” food, this is the place.

This was by far the best salmon bowl i ever had. Everything from the bread. Salmon and rice was cooked to perfection and fresh. I just wished i lived closer so i can come here everyday for lunch.

I got the Californian as I am a vegetarian. The side salad was tasty, but the dressing (balsamic) was very vinegar based. So I ate it dry
The artichoke was tasty and I see why they marinaded it. Wish it came with a Pickle or jalapeños. The cranberry cookie was sooooo yummy. It wasn’t too sweet either. I think the cookie was warm when I got it lol which was very cool

When lunch time starts rolling around I find myself browsing Yelp for somewhere close to work and healthy (the older I get, the less food I can handle). Urbane Cafe kept popping up and when I saw how close it is to me, I did an online order. One of the best decisions EVER (aside from my favorite shoes).
When I arrived, the parking lot made me smile. There was actually somewhere to park! Available spots in Temecula are so rare. Walking in, the place is SO clean and the atmosphere was happy with great music. Everyone behind the counter was busy and cheerful.
I got the So-Cal sandwich and was ecstatic it came with a side salad at such a great price. I couldn’t help myself and added a chocolate chip cookie. I will definitely be back again.
