Some reviewers didn’t like Urban Roost, so either I came on a good day or got lucky. I ordered the Urban Cobb Salad, and it was pretty good (I eat a lot of salad, so I know). The vegetables were fresh, arranged in an appealing way, the plate was full of food, and there was plenty of diced chicken included. They didn’t skimp! The drink selection was above average; they had my favorite beverage, which isn’t all that common. The wait staff was friendly and helpful (but only one for all of the customers), and the atmosphere was okay but nothing special. The room is small; only enough tables for about 25 customers (not including the bar). Overall, I give my experience four stars.

Not too much to say . Cozy little sports bar down town . Plenty of room to enjoy the game as well to come get a bite to eat . I came on Tuesday afternoon , the place was fairly empty yet very clean . The service was good. My burger was definitely made with love .

Typical bar food. Appetizers, burgers, and fried food. The pizza was not great, but I didn’t have high expectations. The chocolate cake was delicious, so it balanced out. 3.5 stars overall. The bartender was friendly and I ordered my meal to go. I had a beverage while I was waiting, but I didn’t have to wait very long and it was brought out to me.

This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. We stayed at the hotel the night before our cruise vacation. Our daughter and I ordered smash burgers and fries. The burgers were not smashed, super greasy, and the “sauce” was nothing but globs of mayo. There’s no kids menu although this is attached to the hotel but my husband order chicken tenders and fries to share with my grandson. They looked gross and my husband said they lacked flavor. All of us mainly ate the fries. The best part of the meal was my beer. The server even told us that she can tell us what they do have because the items on the specialty drink menu were not all available. The service was just okay. I guess we should have known when there was nobody in there around 5pm but us so lesson learned. I do not recommend this place!

A pleasant surprise upon arriving at my hotel the Residence Inn by Marriott downtown Baltimore.
Food was surprisingly good for a hotel bar/ restaurant. Most nights the bar was packed. The drinks during happy hour amazingly affordable. $5 to $6…
My only negative that I noticed was one of the bartenders (who had a scar on her arm) kept using glasses to scoop ice out of the ice bin… A bartender definite no no. Imagine if just a tiny piece chips off that glass… You either empty the entire ice bin in the middle of a busy bar then dry it out and vacuum it out… Or you run the chance if someone getting that chunk of glass in with their ice in their drink.
But with all that said I would definitely return again. Good food, stiff Long Islands.

I mostly liked my onion rings. I like them crispy, not crunchy, so that might not be for everyone. Problem was, my friends and I went on a concert day, and the restaurant was super understaffed so it was a long wait, which is understandable. I hope the staff will get better and they feel less stressed.

This place was not good at all. My sister and I sat at a table for 1/2 an hour and waited for someone to even say hello to us. We got nothing. So we moved up to the bar and asked if they would serve us. The man said yes. It took him another 10 minutes before he even got back to us. He took our order and we waited. In the meantime we noticed the heavy set woman who seemed to be the main bartender had no sense of urgency at all. She never looked at us, asked us if we wanted or needed anything or even acknowledged us. She touched her long braids all the time which was gross because she handled food and drinks. We noticed there was a female server working in the dining room. When the guy finally brought out our food we were both shocked that they served us burnt food. My sister’s smash burger was rubbery and burnt. It was so disgusting she couldn’t eat it. The pic is my chicken fingers burnt to a crisp. The guy that brought it to me said “I know! I’m surprised that they sent this out like this” I scraped off the burn and tried to salvage what chicken I could eat. We just came in from Norfolk Va and we were super hungry and tired.
The food is gross and the service was bad!
Don’t go!

Came in Friday night to visit Baltimore and decide to walk to this establishment. I had the roost fingers & onion rings and my husband had the shrimp tacos n old bay fries. Everything was delicious even the Old Bay fries were better than the Chickie & Pete’s Old Bay fries here in Philly (sorry not sorry lol). If I did say one thing I wish they would give like 1 or 2 more of the roost fingers (they are definitely that good). And we played a round of pool and again this was just a fly by decision but it was a good one

A friend and I ate here for the first time today. We were inpressed by how clean, attractive and comfortable the dining area is. Our waitress was outstanding. My chicken sandwich was tasty as were my friend’s chicken wings. The only disappointment was my french fries. They were bland. Supposedly they were flavored with Old Bay but I couldn’t taste any. Other than the fries we thought this was a great restaurant and we will be returning.

Food was good (we got a burger and a chicken sandwich). Drinks had a black floater and the bartenders maybe were having an off day. It was hard to get their attention. We’d go back. Food was worth it. .
