From the moment we sat down, everything was great. Our server, Carl, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a wonderful experience. We ended up at one of the high-top tables near the bar since that’s what was available — and it turned out to be a hidden gem. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that a large selection of appetizers and menu items are offered at a discounted price when you sit at the bar, high tops, or outdoor patio — all day. Even better, the portions stay the same. Same quality and quantity, just a better price.
We shared the Nonna’s Meatballs, Badaboom Shrimp, and the That’s Amore Pizza to start. Every single dish was excellent, but the pizza truly stood out — hands down some of the best pizza I’ve had in the area.
For our meals, I ordered the Chophouse Burger and my wife had the Chicken Parmesan à la Vodka sandwich on freshly baked focaccia. Both were outstanding. If I had one small suggestion, it would be just a touch more sauce on the chicken parm sandwich, as it leaned slightly on the dry side — but the flavor was still fantastic.
For about $120 total including tip, we left completely satisfied and impressed with the quality, portions, and overall experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the full menu.
Highly recommend for date night or any special occasion!
We have been to all of Kyle G properties and go regularly to a few of them. This was round #2 for us at Amore to give it another shot since the first time wasn’t exactly slamming. It was shortly after they opened the first time so we felt we should give them another shot.
Pretty much everything we ordered was not great unfortunately other than the Arancini.
The Chicken Scarpiello: This would should probably be scrapped from the menu, even the server wasn’t surprised when we told her the flavors were wildly off and the veggies in it were cold and raw.
That was swapped for a Lasagna. Which was decent but they use a solid ricotta instead of a bechamel so it’s a tad dry.

The Tuscan Steak:
Major disappointment. One of the least flavorful steaks ive ever had actually. Needed a ton of salt and the butter it came out with was the only real flavor. The steak was also quite chewy. We should have sent that back as well but we refuse to send back both main dishes so we muscled through the very tough steak that was flavorless. Also came with some risotto and that tasted like dishwater unfortunately so the girl brought out mashed potatoes and those were fantastic.
6/10
Arancini: Fantastic. Could use a little more sauce with it but good overall.

Sad to say we will just stay away from this one and stick to our favorites like Kyle G’s, Oak n Ember and Stuart Fish Grill.
Appetizer recommended
The meatballs as an appetizer are delicious, cooked to perfection, and with every bite you can enjoy all the ingredients that the chef and his team used to prepare them, with a homemade red sauce alongside ricotta cheese, which, when combined and spread on the meatballs, creates a delicious experience.
Pear ravioli: I’m not going to talk about this appetizer; you have to come and try it and experience the sensation on your palate.
Our waitress Hannah was friendly and kind; she is someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service.
Our food is coming and the
Prosciutto and fig pizza
A combination of sweet and savory flavors on a crispy crust, drizzled with balsamic glaze and topped with slices of prosciutto di Parma.
The broiled salmon that my wife order and she says everything in the plate was excellent y try a piece of salmon she give me and impress.
The porcini mushroom-filled agnolotti have a flavor that creates an explosion of tastes that transports you to Italy.
And to finish off the meal the dessert, there’s nothing better than a tiramisu, an exotic and traditional Italian creation that combines the flavor of coffee with the sweetness of the other ingredients.
Thanks to Chef John and team the one make our experience in Amore the best one.
Note: thank to Derek the general manager to come to our table talk about everything.
My first drink was called the Golden Hour. It was not the greatest as I am a fruity cocktail girlie. I was expecting the mango flavor it was supposed to have in it to be a little bit stronger or make the drink sweeter. But it wasn’t the worst so I didn’t feel a need to complain. The hostess happened to be walking by and I was asking her about the overpass on the love statue and she asked me how everything was. I told her I wasn’t a huge fan of the drink, but it’s not a big deal. My waitress happened to be walking by overheard me and immediately offered to replace it with something else that they both agreed was a better choice for my taste buds, which was the raspberry kiss. I told her it was quite all right, but she insisted. I’m glad she did because that one was more my speed and was very delicious!
Now about the food in my opinion, it was not your average Italian restaurant food That’s bland, water down and no flavor. This food was very tasty! Well seasoned, well presented and the big one for me is the pasta was the perfect texture ! My son ordered this short rib tortellini and I ordered a dish that had clams, linguine and a white wine sauce I think. While both dishes were extremely tasty, the better of the two was the short rib tortellini. That sauce it was in was good! My son thought it was very good so much that he was cleaning his plate with the bread to get up the sauce!
For dessert, we had a tiramisu and we tried the cannoli. I wasn’t a fan of the cannoli, but the tiramisu was on point! There was nothing wrong with the cannoli. It just wasn’t my type of flavor.
All in all, I had an A1 experience at Amore, the aesthetic, the vibe, the food, The staff all make me want to Come back here again Very soon! I don’t regret my impromptu visit.
The space is elegant yet welcoming, the menu blends classic Italian with standout chops, and every dish is crafted with care. The steaks are perfectly cooked, the pastas are rich and fresh, and the service is exactly what you’d expect from a Kyle G experience warm, attentive, and genuinely proud to be part of something special.
It is amazing to see how Kyle continues to elevate our local dining scene, and Amore is another reminder of why we are lucky to have him creating here instead of anywhere else.
If you are looking for a memorable night out this is it. Bravo, Kyle.
Jerry our server was phenomenal! He gave us many recommendations and he did not steer us wrong, the food was AMAZING! I got the Branzino and my Boyfriend got the Filet Mignon. He also recommend a cocktail for my boyfriend and he also loved it! At the end of the meal, as we were about to leave, Jerry came and brought us some chocolates and wished him a Happy Birthday.
We plan on coming back regularly, one of the best restaurants in PSL!
Our entrees were the filet mignon which is served with mashed potatoes and also the snapper francaise which comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The sauce on the snapper was too thick and you could taste the flour so I would recommend less flour and more lemon but all in all good.
We received the check and I added a 22% gratuity which is what I usually do. However after getting home and looking at my receipt there is a gratuity of 13% already included. It would have been nice if the server had told us about this but nothing was said at all.
